Craft night...

I just realized that I never posted about the craft night I did in October. We had lots of fun, it is so nice to have a girls night every once in awhile, although I think next time I won't do as many projects!

I actually thought that I wasn't doing enough, but it was so crazy it would have been nice for us all to work on just 1 or 2 things together and have more time to visit... and eat the yummy treats everyone brought!

I asked everyone to bring something to share and it looked like we were feeding an army! :)

my own "super saturday" DAY AND TIME

Hey guys, I am so sorry to be so flaky about all of this.

The for real day has been set, (and I swear I am not changing it again!!!)

This crafty girls night will be Tuesday, October 12th at 6 pm!!!

I have the stuff to make 10 wreaths, so they will be for the first people who tell me they want them (4 are already taken).

Plenty of stuff for pumpkins, and flowers. Also Mary Loertscher is going to teach us how to make some super cute circle silk flowers that will just be there for anyone who wants to come and do a little project.

If you want to do the sign please let me know asap, so I can get the vinyl ordered.

my own "super saturday"

I have been waiting and waiting for my ward to do a "super Saturday" and I guess it isn't going to be anytime soon. But I have lots of cute fallish crafts that I have been wanting to do.

So I thought I would just organize my own "super Saturday"! Any excuse to have friends over and eat yummy treats right? :)

So anyway, these are the projects I wanted to make

fabric pumpkins $5 each pumpkin

rosette flower $2 per flower (for hats, hair clips, pin on a bag, etc!)

halloween sign $15

burlap wreath $17

Yay! Doesn't it all look like so much fun?!?

I was thinking of doing it on Thursday, October 7th, at my house. From 6pm- until whenever we are done! With lots of yummy treats.

Let me know if you would like to come, and what you would like to make. Particularly the sign because I need to get the vinyl.

Obviously I'm not doing this to make money for myself, this would just be for the cost of the supplies.

Eclipse triple feature!

This isn't even our whole group because there weren't enough seats to sit all 12 of us together. Bu this is our little group that did get AWESOME seats (it was totally a twilight miracle :)

update: yay! all the tickets are taken, some people may not be able to make it though so let me know if you want me to call you if someone can't come!

I want to get a group of girls together for the midnight showing of the new twilight movie "Eclipse" at the new theater in Nephi.

I thought we would could all go to dinner together, then go to the movie. The question is do we want to go the the triple feature- which starts at 7 pm and you watch all three movies in a row !?! Or is just watching Eclipse good enough for everyone???

Ticket prices are $7.50 for Eclipse, plus an additional $7.50 if we want to do the triple... so obviously $15 total.

Let me know if you want me to get you a ticket, and if you think we should do the triple or just eclipse.

I want to buy tickets right away so let me know, thanks!

Girls Night!!!

Hey if you live in Fillmore (or even if you don't !), we are having a girls night this Thursday (8/20/09)!!!

A big group is going to meet at Cluffs at 7 for drinks (don't get your hopes up, Im talking about shakes and a delicous rasberry fresh lime , yummmO), then go over the the north park ampitheater to watch the communtiy play (which starts at 8). Oklahoma!

I've never seen it but I've heard it will be great. Tickets are $5 each.

Can't wait to see you all there, remember this is a girls only night so leave the kiddos with your husband, we are going to have a blast!!!
