A CASE of the Fridays!

Hey stampers! Stamping just has not been happening much lately and my mojo is out the window because of it. I definitely didn't want to miss two Fab Friday challenges in a row (sorry about last time, I was so sick that week), so I decided to CASE a card I made last spring but this time using the (very similar) colors from the current Fab Friday challenge. Check out this pretty springtime color combination...

Here is my take on the colors...

Did you hear the exciting news? Calypso Coral and Pool Party are getting added to our color families as part of the Color Refresh that is happening with the new catalog! I was so excited for the changes. I hope you are too! Here is a list of all of the changes...

I paired colors that are staying with a stamp set that (I think) will probably be retiring. Circle Circus has been around for quite a while and I have a hunch that it might be on its way out. I really like this set and will miss it if it goes, but if it makes room for new and exciting sets, I'm OK with it! :-)

ColorQ mashed with The Friday Mashup!

Two postings in one day? Unheard of, I know! Are you ready for me to really blow your mind? I have a third one that I will be posting as soon as this one is finished! Why, you ask? Well, I have given myself a personal challenge to stamp something daily and to make it even more of a challenge, I am attempting to also make only original creations! My awesome stamping buddy, Rita, said that she really boosted her stamping skills by doing daily challenges, so I am giving it a try. Thanks, Rita, for the inspiration!

I made this card for two different challenges. The sketch and theme came from the challenge at The Friday Mashup! and the color combination came from ColorQ, so I combined the challenges to make this card.
