Military Tribute Challenge at Ike's World Challenges!

Hi everyone!
Well.. some times you plan to post something on a specific day and then life happens and your plans have to be postponed.
My house had a little accident, it involved the roof and it caused a lot of problems, but it is all fixed now and I am ready to get back to my normal life.
We have a new challenge at Ike's World Challenge and the theme is
We would like to see your amazing creations in honor of our military forces around the world.
I made a mixed media art journal page featuring Female Troops and a freebie

Image was coloured with Prisma Coloring Pencils and Spectrum Noir Markers. Used Distress Inks, Perfect Pearls and Archival Ink for the background.
Had lots of fun working with this images.

Skull Appreciation Day 2016!

Today's the day. The dead are here!!!!
It's Skull Appreciation Day and of course I had to jump in and join the fun.

What better way to experiment with new techniques and ideas than creating your very own ART JOURNAL for 2015!
The Smeared and Smudged Art Journal Every Day DT are so excited to be hosting our second week-long journal challenge extravaganza! Each morning at 9am PST, for seven days, we will post a journal prompt or technique for challenge participants. The participants will have 24hours to post their journal page for that day's challenge. The daily winner will be announced the next morning along with the new journal challenge. Daily prizes will vary from gift certificates to coupons to free digis!
The fun thing about it is, at the end of the seven days we will be drawing for a grand prize! In order to qualify, participants must have posted entries in all seven journal challenges.
We look forward to this week long fun fest, and we hope you can play along!!!
