Fun at the park

It was one of the days when the weather was perfect. Still spring, not to cold, not to hot. We picked up food at JCW's, a local restaurant up here that we love, then went to the park for a picnic. Addy loves picnics, and she also loves the park. This was Madison's first time playing at the park after all the cold weather. I know I am a little behind in posting... but these pictures were too cute, so I had to share.

Disneyland 2010

The kids haven't been to Disneyland yet and we have been wanting to take them for awhile now. Just lately it has gotten really expensive and so we haven't been able to do it. But one my of cousin's works at downtown Disney and was able to get us in for free. So Awesome! So we decided to go down the same weekend one of my other cousin's was getting married and make it a little family vacation. Alicia and Briana had school, so it was just the little ones. They had a blast! I can't wait to do again soon. Hopefully next time with all the girls. Our family portrait with Mickey... Madison loved him. And you will be able to tell by the looks on their face what a great time they had.

She just kept smiling laughing and looking at Minnie. It was the cutest thing. When we started to go into Minnie's house she still wanted to go back to where she was. It was funny.

we went over to California adventure for a little while, but then the kids fell asleep. But we did watch the Pixar parade which was cool. Addy woke up to watch it, but Madison fell asleep through the whole thing. Here are some pictures..

I wish I had more pictures,but we were having so much fun, that I didn't get a chance to take more. Wouldn't be nice to have someone just take the pictures for you and capture all those magical moments. =)

Madison is ONE, Briana ONE Year older

Happy Birthday to our little Madison who turned ONE on April 3rd. Her birthday fell on a Saturday, and happened to be on General Conference weekend. So we decided to celebrate just as family and do something small. The girls were leaving back to California that evening, so I really didn't want to be rushed with time. So after the afternoon session of Conference, we ate dinner, and then celebrated with a Dessert I made for Briana (at her request), and Happy Birthday wishes to the both of them. Briana turned 14 the next day.
Ok, so I didn't make the cake. Me and the girls had gone out shopping, and on our way back, it tumbled over in the car. So we tried fixing it to make it look at least half way decent just for pictures... lol. It's all good, she is just going to devour it anyway right?
