[110411] - Côte d'Ivoire - Arrestation de Laurent Gbagbo... (Videos)

They took him! A slow divide of the people... Now with massive amounts of Media, he will face massive amounts of propaganda, and falsehoods...

UN has not corrected the results of the invented tale of mass graves (2000) which blamed Gbagbo.... Gbagbo says, "I ordered an investigation and we had an inquiry. We had a trial and the gendarmes who were accused were acquitted." [read]

Does this mean that the UN is granted the power to superseded and disregard any country's laws, Supreme Court, or sovereignty? ... And how many large swaths of disgruntled world populations will this create, who want help with a coup d'État; under "certain" conditions? This is a huge mistake!

WHO WILL BE NEXT? .....DEFUND THE UN, NOW!

Confusion: UN wanted Zelaya to stay, now wants Gbagbo to go; backs oppositions, despite National Constitutions? (Videos)

-Posted by D.C. Worth, for Barbay (France/US)

Everywhere you look you see rejection for "One world" Global Governance... Likely to spark the need for nations with resources, to strengthen the Sovereignty of their own Constitutional Council...

ALL Nations (large or small) should retain the right to arbitrate their own elections, in peace; without a potentially "destabilizing" foreign press.
Especially when the number of voters largely exceed those on the voting list... Said to be the reason why this Leader halted voting blocks for his opponent... (Int'l-style "ACORN" is a reality.)

"Review of elections" are well within the Ivory Coast's Constitution... Gbagbo also requests Int'l panel to review; requests his opponent to support recounts of the election.
-Video, worth the view...

I'm not in support of any leader... I just question the method of "Global Ganging"... And the rush; as Laurent Gbagbo opposition already has its cabinets set up, ambassadors, and UN envoys, after an "unofficial" announcement of election result...

The new Cote d'Ivoire Ambassador Yousoufou Bamba says that the real issue is Human Rights; but there are no convictions against Gbagbo...
At least, not at this point...

With the over-all issue of individuality and struggle for Independence for Africans of history; this country needs to be able to solve its own disputes independently from Foreign influence, and Foreign Media... Lest this leads to questions of the timing; and deepened lack of trust...

The Ivory Constitutional Council remain the only authority to provide the final results of the elections not the Independent Electoral Commission...In so many ways, this has vague similarities with those who fought the UN to protect their Honduran Constitution...

Obama's re-think of America; as a government dependency culture

-Posted by D. Worth (US) | for- M. Barbay (France) and US

A style of Gov. enlargement and dominance over private sector, has NOT proved to be profitable for Africa, outside of their leaders & assoc.
[ENLARGE] Click on photo

Obama Administration's pursuit toward broadening Government, is abhorrent of the African people's struggle to go beyond obstacles which held them away from independent (less Government) prosperity... Which actually perpetuated poverty.

Moya details the effects upon private industry, by Government domination.
NOTE: I would say that she is Pro- African progress, and not anti-Bono, as caption on video might suggest... The fact that there -IS- a difference, further validates her words...

While the West truly did strive to improve conditions for those less fortunate; we can safely say that African leaders have long been given capital, which inevitably and inadvertently hindered African growth... So too, will Obama Team's Gov. meddle, disenfranchise, & thus hinder U.S. citizen's growth...

Bottom-line:
Americans should realize the difficulty in reversing course of the Democrat's Socialist policy... As evidenced in African's struggle to change course, to show their true potential...

Getting inside of pirate's heads, as 100's of thousands of neighbors go without aid

-Posted by D. Worth (US) | for- M. Barbay (France)

Never mind that the U.S.-flagged container ship anchored off the coast of Somalia is carrying items to feed hundreds of thousands of starving people in Somalia, Uganda and Kenya... Liberals pose a rather odd way of analyzing the situation which (basically) holds the entire shipping community and regional west, at fault for "pirate actions."

THE PROOF IS IN THE VIDEO: HERE.
Liberals contend that pirates and their associates, are the "real victims; now said to have earned somewhere between $30 to $150 million in ransom, dangerously seizing more than 40 commercial and private vessels off the Somali coast... in 2008, alone. (fig. source)

IMAGE explanation (see below)

As the Liberal 'Obama and Team' analyze Pirate's actions; the mistake they are making, is the belief that they can 'suspend the situation' to handle the root cause (and only lay focus to that) .. All other solutions will fall into place... Interesting wsj article.

-But this is a huge error, as lacks the basic understanding that a cooperation of that idea will be REJECTED by the pirates, themselves! Meanwhile, "hope and change" does more for the Pirate's "operation" as Commander-in-chief, weighs actions; as if they were equal to aid operations... The situation worsens.

IMAGE (explanation) Somali Child Pirate, on board?
VIEW THIS VIDEO FOOTAGE:

After glancing at footage of Pirates who hijacked the USAID ship and; at this writing, hold the Captain hostage... It seemed unusual that footage purposely avoids showing this particular Somali Pirate and weapon in the same frame... After splicing together, and enlarging this photo...

If I am correct about this Pirate's age; this (alone) is a HUGE violation of Int'l Child Protection Laws! ...And PROVIDES EVEN MORE REASON WHY THIS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED, IMMEDIATELY!

"Fueling corruption as the economic impact of large amounts of money go into small countries creating large bureaucracies, and dependency, also things such as what is called Dutch disease causing a strengthening of domestic currencies, which kills off the export sector in these poor countries; perhaps the most problematic is that it disenfranchises Africans therefore they are not able to hold their governments accountable"(…)

Five Warships Monitor Somali Pirated Faina: Time to Call Sarko

-Posted by D. Worth (US) | for- M. Barbay (France)

Five nations have been sharing information... to try to secure the swift release of the ship and its crew. Ukraine's foreign ministry said the ship had 21 crew members.

— Ukraine, Somalia, Russia, the United States and Britain... story.

The U.S. Navy said Sunday that a destroyer is tracking the Ukrainian ship, the MV Faina, in the Gulf of Aden. The nationalities of the other warships are not known.

The ship's cargo of 33 Russian-made 72T battle tanks made it a particularly worrying situation, that they might end up in the wrong hands... such as terrorists or violence extremists. The 2nd hand shipment was on its way to the Kenyan government, when Hijacked... Kenyan government spokesman Alfred Mutua, however, insisted his country will not negotiate with pirates or terrorists. more.
Speaking by satellite telephone, Ali said the pirates are demanding a $20-million ransom for the release of the vessel. Reports on Saturday said the rebels wanted $35 million. story.
Time to call Sarkozy....
Remembering: Pirates Captured by French After Hostage Release

As the battleships monitor, unsure what to do... One thing is clear, the weaponry and equipment, on this Ukraine ship, MUST NOT reach Somali shores...
Actually, using five or six warships, is like using a sword to get a fly...

I recommend (in the future) "Sea Marshalls" aboard ships; and a down-scaled upgrade combining all Nations; to create a new and improved small fleet force:

Like some of the bravest: The US Coast Guard... :#

They stayed behind during hurricanes (cat, 3 & 4) ... And saved thousands of lives. A few gangly pirates, would be rather simple stakes, in my view...

Scraped this off of a Military site: Some are saying that there is a safe internationally patrolled corridor for sea traffic in the region, in this case it was either ineffective or the ship in question was outside this corridor...

And there is always someone who will say, "I told you so."
