A new sideboard for my x-mas shop

Here are photos of my new sideboard (I bought it on a dollshouse fair in Arnhem). For the sideboard I have done some x-mas ornaments, paper baskets, x-mas cards...I only bought the little Santa, the 2 tiny tiny x-mas teddys and the wooden reindeer

X-mas presents part 1

This year I received a lot of x-mas presents! Wow girls I am speechless!
On photo # 1 & 2 you can see minis by my minifriend Traudel. I really love the cabinet (wow it is from paper) and the Pinocchio (something for a Toy Shop).

On photo # 3 you see a snow dome (by Emma), a x-mas pinboard (by Gonnie), an Advent calendar kit by Leny, a Gingerbread advent calendar, a dollshouse book and a x-mas printie by Els

On photo # 4 a Santa and a little x-mas tree by Annette.

On photo # 5 minis by Eliana (http://terradosgigantes.blogspot.com). The rose plate is for my French house, the cactuses for grandpa & grandma in the Buttercup dollshouse (hehe now they need a greenhouse!!)and the furniture for an antique shop

My x-mas tree

This is a photo of my x-mas tree. It was a workshop by Anja van den Doel. It was my first 1:12 miniature (o.k. as a child I have done also some minis using bits and bobs).
For the stool I used some fabric, ribbon, paper and a plastic cap.....

3-D pictures in my x-mas shop

I like to work with paper. I have done some 3d-pictures for my x-mas shop.
Google "3d Hummels pictures" and print out the images on 120gr paper.
I used tiny tiny stripes of white craft foam (as a spacer). Frames by delprado.
For the plates I used cheap white paper plates and x-mas printies. I found my one in a craft catalogue (VBS). I used glossy nail varnish (I like to work with nail varnish so I have not to clean the brush!!!).

New minis and a present from Christa

This week I have received a wonderful present from Christa!!! A ceramic container for my French house!!! Thank you so much Christa!!!

Reindeer basket

Last year I have done this little x-mas basket for my x-mas shop.
For the basket I used an old birthday-card, picot bread.....
It is 3,5 cm wide.

Wedding Chapel Vignette 1:48 / 1/4"

Here are some photos of my Braxton Payne "Wedding Chapel". I used not the original printies. The altar and the benches are from real wood. For the stone floor I used "ready-made emulsion filler".
Now I have the idea to do a little x-mas tree and other x-mas decoration in 1:48....

Swaps & Co.

Wow girls I am totally speechless. I received 3 wonderful swaps!!
Tiny, tiny baby clothes by Mirel from Finland for my baby shop and 2 little rugs for my French house by Rosamagarita from Mexico!

This year St.Nicholas is really fast. My St.Nicholas lives in the Nederlands and her name is Helma!!! I am so nosy.....I am not sure if I can wait so long........

Yesterday I was shopping in my local hobby shop. I bought some wooden boxes, ornaments, stars, glimmer glue and red clay (for x-mas candles).

I also received a wooden letter case and other "craft materials"......Thank you to all my "waste collectors"!!!!!
And I won a space rack on ebay for € 2,50.......I will paint it white........

I have finished some matchboxes. I will use them for my x-mas swap (sorry I can't post here any photos of my swaps....I am not interesting in getting stress with Santa Claus).

I also start to tidy up my working space (craft materials, dollshouse magazines.....)but that is a long term project).

My French Mini House Part 3

I have finished my next "ufo-project". I have done a pavement (a wooden coffee stick), a stair (a match) and some flower pots (wooden beads & flower soft).
Maybe I will make a stairrail and a sign with the French text "A vendre / to sell".

I found also someone (in my plastic boxes) who is interested in the old house (o.k. it is a ruin!). It is the garcon (waiter) Mathis.

Dollshouse fair in Arnhem/Holland

Last weekend I was shopping on the dollshoue fair in Arnhem/Holland.
For my Dutch Canal house I bought:
4 cups & saucer (for the photo I put only 1 on the table)
4 plates
1 holder for the coffee filter paper (I will make some small ones for the holder)
1 butter & 1 cheece container

I bought also some furniture, a lot of diy material and 2 Spanish dollshouse magazines. Now the hole in my purse is more than big.

I met also my friend Els from Holland. She made a little baby for my baby boutique. Now it is time to make a pram for the child (2 years ago I bought a workshop kit). But before I start with the pram I will do my christmas presents.
