A New Sewing Machine Lid

Yesterday I went to Antwerp / Belgium.
And there I saw the perfect sewing machine lid for
my haberdashery shop!
The lid is in super condition! No marks or woodworms!
I bought it directly. I promised Wim and Maritza van Soest to do
a nice haberdashery shop and to send photos of the shop.
I am really happy about the new lid. And now I can say good bye to the
old one!!!

The shop front matchs also to the lid. I like the decoration on the glass.
I will save the name Naumann and cut the hole on the back.

I am not sure about the colour of the front side. Any ideas???

Enjoy

Die kleine Puppenschneiderei / Litte Doll's Dressmaker Kit

For my toy shop I have done a doll's dressmaker kit.
On the internet I was searching for images which I can use for this project.

I was happy to find one. My next problem was to find a
red fabric with tiny tiny white dots...... and a naked baby doll.

I am really happy about the result.

When I was a child I had a little sewing machine.
Now I am searching for little sewing machine
which I can put later in my haberdashery shop..

Greeting from the Belgium seaside

a measuring tape, a leaflet for a Singer sewing machine
and printables for the haberdashery shop / hobby room.

I hope my swap partners like my swap.

Have a nice day

Displays for my Haberdashery Shop - Cameo-Brooch

Lock what I found....... a cameo brooch!

The height of the brooch is about 7 cm. I will use the cameo as a picture in the French House.

From the ornaments I have done little displays for my haberdashery shop.

Maybe I can do a lamp from the remaining ornaments.

Sewing Machine Lid

Here are some photos of my wooden sewing machine lid.
I bought it for 5 euros in a Belgium charity shop.
The "roof" is damage and the box has nicks and scratches all over it.
First I thought it is a very big box.....but now with furniture......
I am not sure if I use wallpaper with patterns/images because
I am afraid that it is maybe to much (all the little details/sewing articles).

Bad Holiday Weather - Kit Time

At present I spend some days at the Belgium seaside
(and yes the weather is not so nice....rain, wind and hail...)
but so I have time to assemble some kits.

I have finished

3 boxes of Pryms snap-fasteners
each box is 1,5 x 2,3 x 0,5 cm
and each box contains 3 button cards.
I glued 36 breads on each card.....altogether 324 breads.
Kit by Michaela Stange

6 scented sachets for my haberdashery cabinet. I added some little cream bows.
Kit by artofmini

I have also assembled the little etagere. I will paint it later white.

Sideboard part 2

I have finished my sideboard. I used a nail for some scratches so the sideboard looks older.
In each drawer are 4 different bolts of fabric.

Sideboard Part 1 and a question

Here is an update of my sideboard. It is now "dirty-white" and I really like the glass (plastic) front.
For the sideboard I will do fabric bolts......

I am searching for some old photos of Paris. Do you have some tips where I can find some? I will do a window...

Have a great day

Knitting Case and Furniture

I have a lot of old furniture in my storage. I will use them in my haberdashery shop. Counter and chest of drawers are from my old baby shop (they are cream). The table is for my lace pillow.

What do you think about this knitting case?
