My swap for Sonya

I really love to swap. I have made some minis for Sonya's country dollshouse.
I used an old Nivea paper box as a template for my little gift box. Later I added some printies, lace and buttons on the box. In the little paper bags are some crafts materials....
Later I will post a photos of my swap.....

Some country magazines

Today I was a little bit lazy and so I made only some magazines for the Buttercup... o.k. all the magazines are for grandma I will make a magazine for grandpa a football magazine....

A rocking chair

This little rocking chair was a gift .... I like the design but it looked ugly (it was to red..)...so the chair was over one year in one of my plastic boxes.....
Today I painted the chair and used brown canvas for the seat.
Now I am satisfied with it.

My furniture in the Buttercup

So here is a photo of the "new" furniture for the Buttercup...
The room is nearly finish .... the next projects are:
a little cooker
water pipes
a gas bottle
kitchen canisters
a carpet
a radio or tv
some garden magazines (i will put them in one of my wicker baskets)
a dog basket

Furniture makeover part 2

This is the second part of my furniture makeover for the Buttercup dollshouse....

The original sofa and chair were mahogany with a red fabric, the wardrobe was unpainted and the little table were brown with a hig glossy varnish....
I painted all furniture with acrylic paint (Appel Barrel Colours Twill no. 20780) and later with liquid wax wood stain..I hope this is the correct translation). It was a dark oak one. I painted all furniture 2 x with the wax.
I used the same paint for my kitchen sink.
Later I used a new fabric for the chair and the sofa....

So now my kitchen sink is in the little Buttercup...and as you can see there is really no space...on the right side you can see my little chicken towel rack

I will also make some water pipes ... at the moment I try to finish my ufos (unfished projects before I start with the big house)....
Yes I am an expert for ufos...

A kitchen sink makeover

Sometimes it is really not easy to find the right furniture for a dollshouse... for my Buttercup dollshouse I used a lot of so called cheap furniture. Yes nearly all of them look ugly. The kitchen sink was to high so I removed the "foot". The original one was brown (sorry the photo is not so good).

I will make also a little cooker because I have no space in my Buttercup....yes the house is cute but really to small....
In the internet I found also an instruction for a little gas bottle...

A towel rack

Today I made a little towel rack for my country kitchen in the Buttercup dollshouse....
I used some paper (old card), beads, wire and a rest of a wooden coffee stick and black Revell Email paint

Normally I don't like dolls and that's the reason why I have only a few of them...here is a photo of grandma who lives with her husband in the Buttercup...
She is really nosy.....

A little shelf for my laundry.....

Today I decorated a little shelf for my laundry....I made some little cleaning products and a new dustpan.....
I added also a carpet beater...made by Gonnie....
At the moment I have enough laundry products for the Dutch canal dollshouse and also for my litte Buttercup.....

So now I can start with the housework......I think I will make a second one for my buttercup dollshouse.....

Dustpan part 1

Today I try to make a little dustpan for my dollshouse....
For a dustpan you need paper (old christmas card), a wooden ice cream spoon, a toothpick and a candle tealight....
So now I go back to my working table.....

Update of my wooden basket

So here is an update of my wooden basket.....you need some printies, a press button and a rest of a tealight..for the cleaning products..
I found an old plastic ice cream spoon in my mini chaos...maybe I can used it for a dustpan.....
I will make some more cleaning products...

A lot of projects and a red nose...

At the moment I have a cold and my nose is more than red....yes I look a little bit like Rudolph the Red-Nosed-Reindeer....that's the reson why I post today a link with a lot of super mini projects:

A bucket for my laundry

Today I made a little bucket for my laundry....
For the bucket I used an old Christmas card, wire, some fabrics and a rest of scoubidou band.

Brushes & Co.

I am a member of a Dutch onlineminiclub. At the moment I try to make some brushes & co. for my wooden basket. I will put it later in my laundry...
This was the january project by Roelie...yes I have to hurry....
The broom on the left side is from a dollshouse shop...it was an unpainted one....
So today I will make more towels for the basket..I use normal wc paper for it....

Workshop kit Sonja

Today my pc can read the chip card of my camera (yippee)....and I can post a new photo...
I made a little wooden basket for my laundry....
It was a workshop kit by Sonja/Belgium also a member of my swap group......

I am not sure what I do with the flowers..I mean I can put in a vase, wrap it into paper....at the moment I have a lot of ideas .....

Geraniums

Today I will finish my geraniums....I made a little paper flower pot and decorated it with a printie....as you can see also with little red geraniums.....
for the handle I used a part of a bra clip...
In my real life I have also a lot of geraniums in the summer in my flower boxes....I love flowers and gardening....

My dream kitchen..

Today I put all my finished furniture in my kitchen....so it is easier to find the right poistion for the windows and the door.....
I bought the stove on a dollshouse fair in Soest....but later I will replace the decoration....

Kitchen furniture in progress

So here is an update of my kitchen furniture....as you can see I painted all drawers
(I used a normal brown arylic paint but cheap paint tester which you can find in D.I.Y. shops are also o.k....) and than I used a normal nail fail to remove the brown paint (I really like to work with a nail fail..)..that's it....later I added some handles.....

My kitchen sink....

So I finish my kitchen sink.....my first idea was to put a pump on the right side...
but than I have no space for all my minis.....
so I will make a wall with tiles and old water pipes.....
I love the country style (haha I think everyone can see that..) and so I bought same porcelain.
The name of the porcelain is "Country Kitchen" and the name of the producer is Dolls House Miniatures. The procelain is available in cream and in light blue.
I will make some little yellow gloves....but first I have to search for the right material....
