Mother's Day Mason Jar Pocket Letter....

Hi there!!!
Someone has put this month on fast forward because I cannot keep up!  If I figure out how to nail down time, I'll drop the hint here, but until then, take a deep breath and ride out this post with me...
Happy it's almost Mother's Day here in the U.S., next month, but like I said with the whole time spinning past me in a hurricane blur, it's better I get stuff done now.
This time around at The Cutting Cafe, we are showcasing the new and fabulous Clear Cardstock that Regina has here in her store.   The possibilities of  this product are truly endless, but I decided that I would make my first ever pocket letter.   I had a little (tons) of inspiration from a fellow DT and wonderful friend. See it here.

Here's the 'decorated side' and top section
The middle section....
The bottom section.
The great part about these decorations is that each image is its own shaker.  The recipient can remove them and place them in a baby book or a journal page or they can keep them right here in the protector, but I think it's just too much fun to have all the options.
All these shakers were made with the clear cardstock.
Now as per tradition, the objective with pocket letters is not only to have a theme, but to also come bearing gifts.  So, here are some of my gifts that I've included that are pre-made, handmade, bought, old, new, sparkly, pretty, and hopefully useful too.
All of this came to be just from making the very first mason jar ornament with clear cardstock from the Cutting Cafe Shop.

All files used from The Cutting Cafe are as follows:
Cutting Cafe Crafting Supplies Store-
Clear Cardstock - Used to make shaker cards inside Mason Jars.
Cutting Cafe Cut File Store-
XOXO Word Shaped Card - Sign for the gift side
Mom Shaped Card Tops - Decoration for the gift side
Huge Cupcake - Decoration on the gift side
Sewing Machine Set - Spools used to hold Washi tape and Baker's Twine
Butterfly Treat Box Template - Used to layer for Decoration and Gift Side
Layered Stitched Hearts - Used hearts for shaker elements.
Garden Stand ups - Used tree and fence to decorate a silhouette image
Dress Shaped Card 2 - Used on Shaker card side

Big hugs and thank you so much for your visit.

These kinds I like.....

BEWARE....spiders ahead!!
"The itsy bitsy spider climbed down its sequin web
Out came the ghouls and tried to scare the kids.
Up came the moon and all the witches squealed
and the itsy bitsy spider climbed up his web again...."
He really does have a sequin web that he hangs from and so will all his other buddies as soon as I'm done AND they're also all shaker ornaments!! How fun is that? I mean really?  Too fun!!
Here's the link to find them in Regina's amazing store:

Tree Topper Trick or Treater???....

Hello, hello, hello...
Just a little post to show today because so I'm excited that House-Mouse & Friends is hosting a DT call and I (for sentimental reasons) thought I needed to give it a try.
Every Christmas for the past, I can't even remember now, my Mom has purchased a House-Mouse stamp and put it in my stocking for Christmas morning.  I remember when I was little and couldn't wait to find the toy or candy, but now I get all giddy waiting to see what that year's stamp will be!!
So, when I went to grab a stamp and make a card, it being the beginning of Fall here, I thought I'd do a Halloween card, BUT....since I always got Christmas stamps, I was stumped.  Never fear, little Muzzy the Mice Star (tree topper) doubled as a trick or treater in his yellow star costume. I then added a little pumpkin basket for him to carry.
Since the stamp was originally a Christmas stamp, I decided that the card should be a snow globe shaker card with a Halloween scenery.  I've used the wonderful Christmas Shape Shaker Cards located at The Cutting Cafe shop.
And here it is all finished up!
My grandma is here visiting us and as soon as I finished making this she grabbed it and put it in her suitcase. I'm gonna take that to mean that this card no longer resides here...  ;)
The theme for this current challenge, HMFMC203, is either 'Anything Goes' or "BINGO'.
I opted to do across with Ribbon, Yellow, Flowers/Leaves.
This challenge still has 2 days to enter so you should REALLY, REALLY, REALLY try out too!!
I'd also like to enter in the following challenge:
Gruffies & Guests- Challenge 21; Make it Fruity or Anything Goes

Thank you so very much for your visit.
Biggest of hugs and Happy Crafting to you.

I'll be back on the 27th to announce the winner of my surprise prize for the
Chouxchoux Paper Art Halloween Party, so stay tuned!

Shaker Cards @ The Cutting Cafe...

Need a tag that's a card that's an ornament? What's that you say?? ' YES? '  Well, look no further, I have JUST the thing for you!  Regina is blowing my mind with her Christmas Shape Shaker Cards and you'll love them too. These are just three of the eight...that's right, 8, of the designs from The Cutting Cafe. Attach them to a gift as a tag and let it be your card and then the recipient uses it as an ornament. Seriously COOL idea for the holidays!
The sentiments come from Christmas Word Shakers file.

Bookmark this website and see all the DT designs on the 7th of December.
Leave a comment and be in the drawing for three free cut files of your choice.
