Hightlights from our Black Beauty Tea

“No hour is lost that is spent in the saddle.”  – Winston Churchill This past weekend we hosted our Literary Tea Party – Black Beauty. What a wonderful turn out we had on both days, thank you to all for coming out! We were grateful that the weather cooperated so all of our guests were able to meet, greet and get their picture taken with our “Beauty,” a/k/a Mr. Darcy. What a fun tea we had last weekend! To celebrate St. Patrick's Day we hosted our Irish Farmhouse Tea! The room was filled with a festive spirit! We had a table of 8 ladies who all had birthdays in March! So they came to celebrate and their lively spirits brightened the room!  Foods ranged from Patty's Ham & Cheese Quiche, to Luck of the Irish Cucumbers... to Lucky Leprechaun Cakes...  to Shamrock Shortbread Cookies! May joy and peace surround you, Contentment latch your door,   And happiness be with you now,   And bless you evermore.   Our next Special Themed Tea is our Titanic Tea  which is already sold out! Last Weekend we had a fun tea party full of the festive Christmas spirit, smiling faces, and a yummy tea buffet!  Guests enjoyed ideas to help them with the busy Holiday Season and guests also participated by sharing heartwarming stories. Hope to do this again next year as it was so well received! Highlights from the Royal Wedding Afterglow Tea Party

What a festive tea party we had this past weekend! Guests arrived all decked out in lovely hats, fascinators and tiaras! The mood was very festive and celebratory, all in high hopes and well wishes for the newly married royal couple.   Guests enjoyed a delicious four course "royal" tea -- we started the tea off with Middleton Chilled Fruit Soup. After the first course, the tiered trays came out laden with savories, scones and sweets... To name a few, Queenly Carmelized Peach Quiche; Sapphire "Blue"berry Tea Sandwiches, Prince William's Classic Cucumber; Royal Scones... In Memory of Diana - Princess Diana Wedding Cupcakes topped with sugared sweet violets representing faithfulness. Guests enjoyed our Royal Wedding Blend, a hearty blend of three China black teas.
