Serenity Now

So peaceful, so quiet... so, uh... serene?... yeah that's it

...

I don't know... the first thing that comes to mind when I look at this shot is just peacefulness (one would hope that's a given seeing as chaotic sleep is a little harder to photograph

). But yeah, I just get the sense of a serene Sunday morning (perhaps sometime in the midst of summer?)... Ok a summer Sunday morning where you just feel like sleeping in with nothing to do later in the day... the sun shining brightly outside, the warmth blazing down on the contours of your beautiful back... sun - just - blazing, on contours - of - beaut... ok, I'll just stop there before this turns into one of my wacky fantasies

The Blue Horizon

Had the ocean just been one shade darker I think the sky in this shot might've been indistinguishable from the water... Still a gorgeous view nonetheless

... this almost might've made it as a wallpaper. If not for the fact that it's just slightly on the bright side. Just barely missed it

...

Btw, is wearing your speedos as a necklace a new fashion statement. I must be behind on the times... But I think it's a nice look

Just Beautiful Greg

Do the clothes make the man or does the man make the clothes? Who can really say for sure. But there has to be something noted about a model like Greg here who's so strikingly beautiful he can carry off the standard cowboy look to total perfection...

So is it the outfit that makes him sexy or is the model himself that has to carry the outfit...

Granted there's no universal answer, but with Greg, I think it's safe to say it's the latter. Just astounding... These shots were taken by a choreographer/dancer turned photographer who goes by the name Zedneram. He used to have a website up (which you cab still see labeled on these shots), but from what I gather it's no longer up. Beautiful Russian Shower

What better way to survive the notoriously brutal/harsh cold of the Russian winter than by partaking in a nice, refreshing shower... Preferably with some soothing hot water of course...

Oh, and yeah, a couple super hot Ruskies couldn't hurt heating things up a bit

... I mean this is a 'hot shower' we're talking about here after all aren't we?..

(And yes, as usual I'm quite partial to the abs

)... These shots were taken by a Russian photographer who oddly enough goes by the name 'Peter Pan'... Yes strange, but there is apparently a method behind his madness. As you can see, his shots practically speak for themselves... some really amazing stuff, I highly recommend checking out his photography page.

And wow

... you gotta wonder what sport exactly do you have to play to wind up looking like that... cause I'm pretty sure that's not the result of just hitting the gym. Insane

An all-time favorite: Rusty Joiner

He's an actor, he's an athlete, he's a fitness icon, and he's quite possibly one of the most recognizable faces in the world of physique modeling...

...or should I say one of the most recognizable models, period.

The man himself needs no introduction... he's easily of my long-time favorites (as I'm sure many others share that same sentiment). There can only be but one Rusty Joiner...

Transitioning from a former gymnast into the fitness modeling world has translated into quite a lucrative career for rusty. Since the late 90s the guy has modeled, and modeled, and modeled some more. From Abercrombie, and Fitch to Men's Fitness, to Levis, to Structure Magazine, the guy has done it all. His resume pretty much extends around the block.

Not surprising really for someone who can manage to age and still look this good. These shots directly above were taken by Lewis Payton for DNA magazine back in 2005. Would you believe it if I told you Rusty was 36 back when he posed for those photos

If there was ever such a thing as a fine wine of modeling, Rusty surely fits the bill

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a few more credit crunch victims of the Steve Jones former-model-turned-TV presenter variety...

Call it a poor excuse, I personally think it's a sign of fiscal irresponsibility... But if it gets to the point where Steve has to lose his shirt on account of the credit crunch then I'm all for more irresponsibility

Italian Beauty

Out of any sport I can think of off the top of my head, I'd have to say Rugby players are definitely at the top in terms of athletes who could just as easily pass off as models. Slowly but surely I'm starting to rethink that whole 'gymnasts' being the hottest athletes thing

...

... And why not? When you have athletes as beautiful as angel-faced Italian rugby player Andrea Marcato here. There oughta be a law against knocking guys on their backs for a living and managing to look this good
