I'm going with a birthday card for a 'first' birthday and the birthday theme is Happy Bee Day.

I'm using the Hetty Clare image ... Fairy Cupcake for my card

I colored it with the theme in mind with marker.  The number 1 is cut with my cricut and stacked a few.  Then dipped and dipped again in glitter.  Why? I don't know, it's all over everything and I mean everything.  

The sentiment is from My Favorite  Things 'Meant to Be' that I stamped in Distress and then covered in clear embossing powder.  The background paper is from the Recollections collection. A bit of Wink of Stella on the wings to make them shimmer and fun.

Hello Everyone I'm back - or trying to get there from vacation. We have a challenge at Creative Knockouts that I'm a bit late on but it's still rolling the sponsor this round is Hetty Clare and the theme is Sewing.

For my card, I am using Begonia Cat and I used colored pencils on the image.  For my sewing, I didn't have access to so I used an edge punch to give the look of cross stitch down the sides of the image.  The daisy paper in the background is from Recollections.  The stamp is from ArtC and is embossed in hot pink embossing powder and then cut into a banner and raised with dimensional tape.  I added some paper flowers and some Neuvo drops in orange. All on a lavender side fold base.
