Sugar Creek Hollow.......

Afternoon peeps, don't know about you but I'm struggling with blogger, I don't like the new layout it looks too technical for me and so I have to keep reverting back to the old style, I don't like change just wish they would leave things alone.....don't they know I'm a silver surfer who has to use water wings to keep afloat....lol.

Oh well on to this weeks challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow.....this week we want to see your fancy folds, don't forget you can do Shabby Chic, Vintage or primative style.
For the main image the stamp is by Our Daily Bread called Birthday Blessings available from Oyster Stamps. I coloured the image with Prisma pencils. the heart is a Crafty Individuals stamp CI 342, I have embossed and layered up the heart using a wow purple tinsel embossing powder.

Sepia Christmas Card

My first sepia card and definately not my last loved doing this, The design is a Sugar nellie and has been painted in Tea dye distress ink, after painting the design part of it has been layered up i.e bow, teddy and presents (doesn't show that well though) after I had finished painting I then spritzed the whole design in Glimmer mist to add the bling effect in the background the flowers were also spritzed

The card has been entered into the following challenges: Daring cardmakers who had the inspirational theme of sepia, Our Creative Corner has the theme of 12 days of Christmas.....Partridge in a pear tree, Cupcake have a christmas carol as an inspirational theme...not sure if the '12days of christmas' counts but heres hoping.Spoon full of sugar have the challenge of 'Monochrome', Papertake want christmas cards but NO red or green. The sketch for this design is over at Sketch Saturday

Now before you all shout snowmen are white....I know.... but I fancied a change so if you add cochineal to snow you do get pink...lol. This little cutie has been painted with Sakura pens using 3 pink shades with a hint of green and copper as well as everyones favourite clear.Flowers are from Tabby crafts, papers are DCWV....love these pink christmas papers, and the stamp is WOJ and the sentiment stamp is Papermania. I have entered this card into several challenges:
Creative Card Crew....'strings attached' used a thread type ribbon from Papermania,
Spoon full of Sugar...... Babies first Christmas.
Cute and Girly.............Winter wonderland
Mojo Monday............. followed the sketch
Stamparctic................. Pink Christmas card, this is a fab site for all things inspirational.

Charisma.................... 'Merry and Bright
Cooking it up with Katie..this weeks recipe is a flower used slightly differently (used mine as part of the sentiment), something clear i.e. dew drops and use a sketch from another challenge (my sketch is from Mojo Monday)
'....thinks thats about it never entered so many challenges with one card so this is a record for me.
