Sugar Creek Hollow.....

Afternoon to you all, it's getting busy at work now and today we are all wearing our Christmas jumpers, then on Monday we are having our Christmas party which is a lovely pamper party, a meal with a beauty treatment, mine's a back massage being as I'm at work that day.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow, the theme this fortnight is.......anything but a card. I have been working on this album for the last two weeks, I followed the instructions from a workshop by Clare Charvill, however instead of using the the Graphic 45 papers that she has used I used papers from Prima called  Stationers Desk along with tags and flowers from the same collection.
Caution this is a photo heavy post showing al the pages.

Wired for sound.....

Afternoon peeps hope you are well, I'm sitting here wired up having 24 hour heart monitor check today and then I have to go back tomorrow to have an echo, something or other on my heart and the monitor removed, don't know what that is but I won't be googling it to find out, hopefully they will find out what is wrong with my old ticker, not sure if I will be able to do roller coaster rides again though.....lol, might have to just stick to the gentle kiddie ones.
Thought I would share with you the front cover of the album I did the other Saturday with Trisha Ladouceur, must admit that these are papers by Bo Bunny  I would never have normally used but they lend themselves perfectly for an album featuring my daughter, and I have actually managed to finish and get all the photos in ......now tha'ts a first. Its ages since I have worked with vellum and must admit I'm quite liking it. just had to bling it up with lots of diamante gems.
The cover of the album is a resist cover so I used Mustard Seed, Spun Sugar and a smidge of lilac distress inks to colour it in.......

Off to have a play in my craft room,
I'm in the process of making a mini wedding album for my daughter.

Working progress.....

Afternoon peeps, the theme this week at Sugar Creek Hollow is.....baby face, we want to see your vinatge or shabby chic projects with a baby on, I am in the process of making a baby album using Graphic 45 Little Darling papers, this is the front cover of the album, I am about half way through the rest of the pages so I still have a way to go before this is finished. When it s finally finished it will have photos of Ethan abd Zachary in it.

I have frantaged the edge of the baby image, the work Lullaby has been
highlighted with glossy accents and a sprinkle of glitter.

this week we have a guest designer joining us at Sugar Creek Hollow
Starr Timmons.......Her blog URL is http://starr-timmons.blogspot.ca/
so pop by and see her lovely work as well as the other design teams creations.

Mini Album.....

What a drab afternoon .......raining and grey, mind you I have had a snooze this afternoon with Ethan, lazy or what, its him he wears me out....lol. the papers I've used are from DCWW, they feature butterflies and botanical prints, some of the images are embossed and are all glittery and blingy, so this was a nice easy album to do, every page has a flap either under wings of the butterflies, or I've made pockets for pics to go in, there are also some journalling tags on the pages one of which I've added some charms to.The nice thing about doing this album is all the bling you can add, I've added little words as titles to each of the pages as well.........

pic showssides of pockets I've made to hold the photos

I thought I'd show you a couple of the photos that will be going in the album
they are of Ethan at about 6months, as soon as we entered the butterfly farm a butterfly landed on his face
straight across his eyes unfortunately we didn't get a photo of that.
