As I said in my previous post, I ADORE this upcoming Our Daily Bread Designs set called May God Hold You. This and two other new sets will be released Feb. 1 so make sure to stop on by and grab yours because I know they will be flying off Kelley's shelves!!! Here is my card:
I watercolored the leaves and added Celery Shimmerz and glossy glaze over them, then popped a few of them out for dimension. I colored the center of the medallion with Spiced Cider Shimmerz, added Platinum Stickles all around and a flatback pearl in the center. I popped out the medallion, too. I stamped the same medallion on clear shrink plastic to create the charm hanging from the bow. I've also been enjoying the Ornare corners and Prism cardstocks lately so I incorporated those as well! The Shimmerz, Ornare templates and Prism cardstocks can be found at the ODBD store :).

ReplyDeleteI actually won the "May God Hold You" card and sent it to one of the two soldiers in Iraq that the KDT has adopted. I later found out that he was of Irish decent and that St. Patrick's Day was super important to him and he was even MARRIED on that day. (Coincidence? I think not!)
