Good Morning everyone!  Have you been enjoying this fabulous fall weather?  Here in Central Alberta, it feels more like summer but I'm certainly not complaining.  :)  Here we are at the end of September - the fifth Thursday this month and you know what that means...it's a Crazy Egg week challenge over at the 4 Crafty Chicks!  And our theme this week is a super-easy-peasy one: "Anything Goes!!"  So, whatever you do this week, come back and link it for us.

For my card, I used a Color Throwdown from a few weeks ago and the Week Two Viva la Verve sketch:

Stamps: Smallest Things Plain Jane (Verve)  Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black  Paper: Basic Black, various DSP scraps, Very Vanilla  Accessories: Elegant Leaves die (Verve), 3-D Flowers die (Sizzix), adhesive pearls, canvas flags (Maya Road), twine, Square Lattice embossing folder, paper piercer, Black satin ribbon, Circles Nesties

I hope you will play along with us this week - there will even be a prize for one lucky participant!  Have fun and enjoy the rest of September!

And the Party Continues at There She Goes Clear Stamps!

Welcome back to another fun-filled week everyone!  Have you been playing along with all of the fun and games this month at the There She Goes blog?  Jessica has had some really fun games, sneak peeks and a New Release chat and now, for our last week of the month-long celebrations, she's got a couple things up her sleeve - Project Puzzle is this week's challenge AND we are partnering up with Melissa and the girls over at Tuesday Morning Sketches for their challenge this week!  How fun is that?  And guess what else?  Jessica is so super-awesome that each Trendsetter has been given the opportunity to give away a mini-set on their blog - and TODAY it is my turn!  All you have to do is leave me some comment-love and we will pick one lucky person using Random.org - easy peasy!

For my card, I wanted to make a birthday card (since we ARE celebrating TSG's birthday) but realized I don't really have any TSG birthday sets yet so I used Zoo-pendous and tried to make it work as best as I could.  I also used the CR84FN Color Challenge - don't you love these fall colors?

And here's this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches:

And my card:

Thank you for stopping by today - don"t forget to leave me some love to be entered for a chance to win a TSG mini set - you'll be glad you did.  :)  See you later - enjoy your week!

It's Beginning to Look Like Fall...

*If you are looking for Day Three of the There She Goes Sneak Peeks, please scroll down!  Thanks!*

...and I am LOVING it!  This is my favorite time of the year - the leaves , the smells, the sounds...delightful!  This week's challenge over at the 4 Crafty Chicks is all about fall so let's see what you create with the most wonderful time of the year as your inspiration.  And the 4CC aren't the only ones looking for fall...TCP Tuesday's challenge last week was an inspiration challenge using this photo:

For my card, I wanted to use the colors of fall but make them a bit softer so I found an old Basic Grey paper pad I thought would work.  I set off in search of a sketch and found one from a couple of weeks ago over at Clean & Simple Stamping:

Of course, I couldn't just *leave it alone* and make it the way they have it... I made mine horizontal instead of vertical:

Stamps: Wheel Love (TCP)  Paper: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Curio DSP (Basic Grey)  Ink: Early Espresso  Accessories: Paper piercer, sponge dauber, Rosette Sunflower die (TCP), buttons, twine, Little Leaves Sizzlit

I hope you will take a few minutes to play along with us this week - let fall inspire you.  Enjoy your week!

There She Goes Sneak Peeks {Day Three)

Here we are again - our final day of There She Goes sneak peeks!  Today we've got a versatile and fun stamp set with coordinating dies available for you to peruse. With amazingly detailed flowers, ribbons and sentiments, you’ll be celebrating ALL of the important people in your life! The line art and solid images allow for stamping only or coloring, while the tails and ribbons can easily become stems. The circle image coordinates with a 1.25” circle punch. With so many design possibilities, this is a must have stamp set for your collection. It was co-illustrated by Melyssa Connolly and Jessica Knutsen.

World’s Best is a 6x8 sized stamp set that includes 58 (YES!! 58!!!) images and will sell for $24.

And the coordinating die is to *die* for:

For my cards today, I thought I'd make some cute little 3x3 notecards.  I was able to use some of the sentiments from this set and used just the die to make some flowers.  Arielle's Colour Q was my color inspiration:

Stamps: World's Best  Ink: Soft Sky (clouds)  Paper: Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz  Accessories: World's Best die, 1" circle punch, Grass border Cut-Ups, Diamonds EF, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Snow Cap EF, sponge dauber

I tried to make them all the same (easier for me) but just a bit different.  I embossed each of the flowers with a different embossing folder and then used my Grass border die to give it a bit of dimension.  It's kind of hard to see, but I also sponged some Soft Sky ink onto the background to make it look like sky.

So?  You likey??  One random commenter from a pre-determined Trendsetter's Blog Hop Challenge post will be selected to win today's release.  You’ll have until Saturday's Release Party to comment on as many Trendsetter Blog Hop Challenge posts as possible.  The more Trendsetter posts you comment on during each Blog Hop Challenge, the greater your chances of winning!  Be sure to check the TSG Blog Saturday evening after 9:00pm EST to see if you're a winner!

Have we got a treat for you today - not ONLY do we have a FUN Hallowe'en set, we have....wait for it...wait for it... our VERY FIRST die to show you!!!!  Are you as excited as I am???  I was trembling with fear I wouldn't get mine in time to make my card but, thank the heavens above, they were in my mailbox this afternoon.  Unfortunately, that didn't give me a whole lotta time to make my card - but it is what it is.  :)

I needed a quick and easy sketch so I popped over to clean & simple stamping to see what their sketch for this week looked like - PERFECT:

I didn't step too far out of my box for a color scheme this time - the stereotypical black, white, and orange worked just fine, thank you very much.  :)  And see that fabulous spider web border?  That's our new die!!!!  Isn't is super-duper amazing???

Stamps: Bugs and Hisses  Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black  Paper: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, unknown DSP  Accessories: Spider Web border die, paper piercer, sponge dauber, Spider Web embossing folder, buttons, twine

How did you like that peek?  If you want to see more, here's the Blog Hop Challenge list - remember, the more you comment, the better your chances of winning are!  Off you go to Melyssa's blog!!!  See you tomorrow for our last day of sneak peeks.

There She Goes With Another New Release!!!

SO???  Are you ready for another FANTASTIC release from Jessica at There She Goes stamps?  If you hopped here from Lynn's blog, you are on the right track - have you been LOVING what you've seen so far?  If you just *happened* upon my blog, please try and go back to the beginning to see what the gals have created for us all to drool over - all of the links are at the bottom of this post.

Without further ado...our first sneaky-peeky:

OK - so this fun set coordinates with the previously released Buckets of Love set (which I have just added to my wish list...)  It's got a few more bucket-stuffers along with some fun coordinating sentiments.  For my card, I used one of the buckets from the original set with the new pumpkins.  I loved Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch and the Just Us Girls color combo and they both worked perfectly for this image:

Stamps: Buckets of Love, Buckets of Love Holiday Additions  Paper: Assorted SU! DSP, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White  Accessories: Grass border die (TCP), Nesties, twine, buttons, paper piercer, Copics (N3, N5, N6, E23, E25, E27, E29, E33, E34)

The next set is called Follow Your Bliss and it is super-cute!  Puppies, puppies and more puppies around a lovely, old stone wall with a few inspirational sentiments.  For my card, I decided to only use one of the sentiments and pair it with this week's Mojo Monday sketch:

Stamps: Follow Your Bliss  Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Emma's Shoppe DSP (Crate Paper)  Ink: Daffodil Delight  Accessories: Floral Circles die (Verve), paper piercer, Labels Fourteen Nesties, ribbon, adhesive pearls, sponge dauber

SO?  Do you love them?  They are such versatile sets that can be used for many occasions.  Would you like to WIN some New Release yumminess?  One random commenter from a pre-determined Trendsetter's Blog Hop Challenge post will be selected to win.

The TSG Birthday Celebration Continues!

Hi everyone!  Are you enjoying your week?  Have you been over to the There She Goes blog yet?  Jessica has some fun riddles for you to solve and then you will be entered to win a $10 G.C. to spend in the TSG store!  How fun is that?  Being a new Trendsetter, it was fun to go through each of the riddles and search for the corresponding stamp set... I found some new ones that I have added to my Wish List.  :)

This week I decided to use one of my new TSG stamp sets, Flowers of Happiness, and combine it with Arielle's Colour Q combo for this week...it was harder than I thought it would be:

My card is loosely based on this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch - I only used one panel and made mine horizontal instead of vertical...

Stamps: Flowers of Happiness (TSG)  Ink: Basic Gray  Paper: Poppy Parade, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray, Certainly Celery, Whisper White  Accessories: Copic (R27), paper piercer, Apron die (TCP), buttons, twine, Swiss Dots embossing folder

Thanks for stopping by today - take a few minutes to pop over to the TSG blog and solve some riddles.  Trust me, you would DEFINITELY be able to spend that $10 on this month's upcoming new releases...it is an AWESOME release!  Enjoy your day!
