So Happy!

Oh my goodness...Happy Harris of Happy Loves Rosie has just put the finishing touches on my buttons and background and I am just so happy with her additions.  I have stayed off my blog so that she could work with my template.  It has been tough but worth the wait.  I know that so many of you read blog post in reader, but I love the look of all the blog pages and their links and pictures.  It seems more personal that way.

The last couple of days I have been cleaning out the studio and reworking the wall with spackle and paint.  Can't wait to show off some of the new studio space I created.

Digging in...

I must admit, I am deathly afraid to take this leap.  The fear of failure is overwhelming. 


I would like to thank all of the wonderful women that I have followed this past year.  You all have provided me such humor and comfort in your wonderful blogs that I feel compelled to jump in and join you.  It has been a wonderful year of reading, crafting, and commenting.  All of your goodies that I have purchased and copied (not nearly as well) have been filling all the corners of my studio (spare room in the basement).  I now feel like I have a good enough understanding of estate sales, thrift stores and vintage crafting and my sewing machine dusted off to plant this seed. 


With my kiddos fairly independent at 14, 12 and 9 years, I now have the time to spend on myself.


My hope is to be half as good as the wonderful women I follow.  Thanks for the inspiration, companionship, laughs, and vintage treasures.
