Valentine's Day treat for your HUBBY

I put together a simple treat for my husband for Valentine's Day.
$1.00 container, lip clip from Target, bakers twine, this fun Sealed with a kiss printable from The Idea Room blog. I added a fun vinyl mustache to the lid to make this a little more man-ly for my guy, filled it with his favorite treat and it's ready to go!

Since the tag says sealed with a kiss, I added some cinnamon lips and the cute lip clip holds onto them in the front.  Perfect for my guy!

14 days of Valentine's for your HUBBY

Once again, here is what I am doing for my HUBBY for Valentine's this year 2012:
14 days of Valentine's

ok, so here is the real deal.  Both me and the HUBS have decided to do this together.  Funds are very limited these days so this was to help keep it "even" if you will.
But because I want some fun along the way I do not have what my hubby has put together for me.  So I am here to share my ideas with you.  The RULE's that we came up with something small for 14 days, to keep them simple and keep them under $20 total for the 14 days.  That is easy-peasy my friends.  Just hit any $1.00 bin in any store and you will be surprised what you can come up with.

I made my Valentine's totally 80's like by hand writing each tag.  (remember the simple rule)
Here are the thoughts I put on each item.
Here they all are, ready to hand deliver at work, sneak into his car, put in the shower....etc.
I will give him one thing each day starting on Feb 1st and on the 14th I will be hand delivering him a pizza at work for lunch to go with the
"you make my world go round" tag.

I did something similar to this last year (and it was a huge success) except it was a one time thing...meaning I made up a simple printable that included a lot of his favorite goodies and put them all together in a basket and gave it to him at work.  So if you like the one time gift idea you can find that HERE.

In the Mood Pillow...great idea for your hubby

Ok, I saw all of these ideas this morning and thought to myself ....
I have to make one!
So i whipped this up in less then an hour
Hello!!.....what a funny gift perfect for any hubby for Valentine's Day
or your anniversary.

And for those of us who don't feel in the mood, the back side is just for you!  hehehe  I think that is so funny.
I wonder if he will get it :)  What a fun game to play with each other.

My hubby is going to LOVE this pillow, it goes along great with his other
 SAUCY gift this year!
So, whether your in the "mood" or not, this makes a great gift.
I used scrap fabric, heat n bond to adhere the letters and heart and a small pillow form to put this together.
UPDATE:
I have made a pillowcase version of this pillow and they are
for sale in my etsy shop.  Click here to go there!

Treat for daddy from the kiddies

ahhhh, just look at them.
I think they are pretty darn cute.
I used the containers left over from some drink mixes that we always have in our pantry, wrapped them up with cute V-Day paper (8 sheet pack from Target for $1.00) and then filled them up with a treat.
My girls will be giving one to their daddy, the others are for them :)

*********************************
I have learned after 6 years of being married that my hubby really is simple.  FOOD.  I can never go wrong there.  So after last years gift was a major hit,  I decided to turn up the heat this year and turned his favorite snacks
into a saucy Valentine's gift.
This is not your ordinary candy bar poster!!
Read it for yourself:
All I have left to do is wrap up all the food in a basket, attach the note on the outside and deliver it to him at work next week.  hehehehehehe  I hope it makes him blush....or his co-workers!
If you would like this note to put this together for your hubby, just leave me your email in a comment and i'll send it out to you for FREE!!!
yippeee!

Personalized Picture Bookmarks for Father's Day!

My husband is a lover of books......
So I took some fun pictures of our girls with funny little sayings and made them into a book mark for him.
I did 2 different sizes for his choosing.  Printed the pictures out and then had them hard laminated.
This will be a great gift that they can give their daddy :)
Happy Father's Day to all the men out there!

Framed Wedding Anniversary Gift

After 5 years I finally got around to doing something with our wedding announcement.
I printed our own announcements....for our wedding..... on vellum - That alone made it hard to display it without seeing any kind of adhesive.
This is my first time using a floating picture frame.....
Oh my, I love it.

We will celebrate our 5th anniversary in a few weeks so this was a great reason to get it done and a great gift
to him....and me :)

Heart shaped chocolate chip cookies plus a little kiss

Here is a fun idea for a grandpa or grandma this Valentine's Day
i hope they aren't looking at this yet :)
I made some chocolate molds for the first time.  They were fun to do.
Nothin' better then a little kiss right?

Then I took one of my families favorite recipes and decided to have a little fun with it.
I used a heart cookie cutter to make these treats even more yummy.
**** the extra cookie inbetween each heart can be put in a tight container and put into the freezer to be added to ice cream later on or warmed up later for a small treat.
Don't you wish you were my daughters grandparents this year for Valentine's Day?
I wrapped up each treat in a small bag and then boxed them up in a cute little box for each
grandma and grandpa.  She will decorate her own valentine's to go with them.
