Pernah ker korang jumpa orang yg punya papa kedana sampai tak teringin nak kahwin? Bawab yang hidup makan 'aish baladi (roti arab yg paling murah) dgn fuul (fava beans rebus dan lenyek2) tiap2 hari pun kahwin kot. Aku pun dah kawen, whoa!

Ok, sambung cerita Julaibib r.a. Walaupun dia ni miskin, tapi dia ni rajin berzikir, tak pernah miss saf pertama solat jamaah dan menyertai banyak perperangan. Macam dgn kita? Dah berapa banyak solat jamaah tertinggal? (ahh, memang aku terasa..) Kalau yang tak solat terus lagi jahanam, nanti tunggu neraka baham! Bab perperangan lagi usah dikata, harus mujahadah dulu bangun solat subuh pukul 4.10am! (dush sebijik atas kepala penulis)

Tuu dia...bukan calang2 pilihan calon isteri beliau, Rasulullah s.a.w., insan agung kekasih Allah sendiri yang pilihkan! MasyaAllah tabarakallah..

Nak kata punya low profile Julaibib ni sampai leh terlupa nama dia. Tetapi, Rasulullah tetap ingat!

Lantas, Rasulullah s.a.w. berkata, "Ternyata engkau telah membunuh 7 orang musuhm kemudian engkau sendiri terbunuh.

(At-Taubah: 105)

English is Stupid?

I've read this poem long time ago, luckily i found it again on the net. Don't take me wrong, i do love English and it's a great language. It's just that i thought this poem is quite funny and i want to share it with the readers. Anyway, English is definitely important, so master the language will you? Of course, Arabic is way much better since it's the language of the Quran, and it would be an extra if you can master Mandarin. So, happy reading!

Lets face it
English is a stupid language.
There is no egg in the eggplant;
No ham in the hamburger
And neither pine nor apple in the pineapple.
And while no one knows what is in a hot dog,
you can be pretty sure it isn't canine.
English muffins were not invented in England;
French fries were not invented in France.

We sometimes take English for granted.
But if we examine its paradoxes we find that
Quicksand takes you down slowly.
Boxing rings are square.
And a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.
Sweetmeats are candies, while sweetbreads,
which aren't sweet, are meat.

If writers write, how come fingers don't fing.
If the plural of tooth is teeth,
One goose, two geese.
So one moose, two meese?
Is cheese the plural of choose?
One mouse, two mice; one louse, two lice,
One house, two hice?
Shouldn't the plural of phone booth be phone beeth
If the teacher taught, why didn't the preacher praught,
Or the grocer groce, or hammers ham?

If a vegetarian eats vegetables,
What the heck does a humanitarian eat!?
Why do people recite at a play,
Yet play at a recital?
Park on driveways and drive on parkways?
Ship by truck, and send cargo by ship...?
Have feet that smell and noses than run?
How can the weather be as hot as hell on one day
And as cold as hell on another

You have to marvel at the unique lunacy
Of a language where a house can burn up as
It burns down,
And in which you fill in a form
By filling it out
And a bell is only heard once it goes!
How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same,
while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?

English was invented by people, not computers
And it reflects the creativity of the human race
(Which of course isn't a race at all)
That is why
You get in and out of a car, and on and off a bus.
When the stars are out they are visible
But when the lights are out they are invisible.
And why it is that when I wind up my watch
It starts,
But when I wind up this poem,
It ends.

Home

Finally, the exams are over and I'm going home after nearly 2 years, would be great to spend Ramadhan and Eid with my family this year. Ouh how i miss them so much especially the little ones, Iffah and Abbas. Sadly i won't be meeting my brother Ahmad for a while since summer in New Zealand is in Nov/Dec, gotta wait until one of us finish our studies. Gonna be a long journey, I'm getting 10 hours transit in Doha and 10 hours transit in KLIA since I'm taking a flight to Penang from LCCT at Thursday's morning.

Lets appreciate the chance of meeting Ramadhan Al-Mubarak as much as we can, make it better than the previous years.

The Chosen One

Just a quick update, I was reading the facebook when I suddenly noticed that Maher Zain just updated his FB page with a link to his latest music video, The Chosen One. A video specifically made to respond to recent attacks to our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. through cartoons and facebook. See how beautifully the message is conveyed about Rasulullah's s.a.w. teaching, it's really touching and make me miss the beloved Prophet s.a.w.! A video based on the sunnah from the Sirah Nabawiyah.

Just click the full screen button or u can watch the bigger version here: The Chosen One. I have to resize the video to make it fit in this blog, especially since it is in wide screen mode.

In a time of darkness and greed

It is your light that we need
You came to teach us how to live
Muhammad Ya Rasool Allah

You were so caring and kind
Your soul was full of light
You are the best of mankind
Muhammad Khaira Khalqillah
Sallu ‘ala Rasulillah, Habib Al Mustafa
Peace be upon The Messenger
The Chosen One

From luxury you turned away
And all night you would pray
Truthful in every word you say
Muhammad Ya Rasul Allah

Your face was brighter than the sun
Your beauty equaled by none
You are Allah’s Chosen One
Muhammad Khaira Khalqillah
Sallu ‘ala Rasulillah, Habib Al Mustafa
Peace be upon The Messenger
The Chosen One

I will try to follow your way
And do my best to live my life
As you taught me
I pray to be close to you
On that day and see you smile
When you see me
Sallu ‘ala Rasulillah, Habibil Mustafa
Peace be upon The Messenger
The Chosen One

Sallu ‘ala Rasulillah, Habibi Mustafa
Peace be upon The Messenger
The Chosen One

Keharu-haruan Kebiru-biruan

Berdasarkan pemerhatian kasar tadi, nampak macam ramai yang mengeluh tentang kertas PJP (pilihan jawapan pelbagai a.k.a.

Haih...sebelum peghiksa pon otak haghu, lepaih peghiksa pun otak jadi haghu, ni dok tunggu exam internal med plak dok mai, tambah haghu lagi cek oiii!

Haru Haru by Big Bang:

Haru Haru Parody (Big Bag) by Infinity Challenge (xder sub sbb video atas dh ada):

p/s: otak haru biru, entry blog pun jadi haru biru~

Quotes #3 - Regarding Women

Oh, somewhat I'm feeling like writing down and share some quotes about women that i found recently tonight while listening to some Nickelback's songs.

I was accompanying some girls returning to their home (musyrif) with a taxi when i suddenly noted this quote, written on a sticker on a car in front of us. It said:

"Well behaved woman barely make history."

I know I heard some sarcastic or provocative statements from my group's beloved professor of surgery regarding women, but I usually just laugh about it, but this particular statement somewhat got me on my nerve. Finally, it made me came out with a conclusion:

"Whoever created this statement must be a retard! There are lots of great histories carved by great well behaved women, just name it! Asiah the wife of the Pharaoh, Khadijah and Aishah r.a. the wives of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w., Asma' bt. Abu Bakr r.a., Sumaiyah r.a. and many more. Oh, and of course my beloved Mom! She carved lots of great meaningful and memorable histories in my life."

Last but not least, I found another quote regarding women from some of my friends (both males and females) in Facebook, u may already know about it:

"Whatever u give a woman, she will make it greater. Give her sperm, she will give u a baby. Give her a house, she will give u a home. Give her groceries, she will give u a meal. Give her a smile n she will give u her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what she is given. So if u give her crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit!"

Hahaha, no comment on this one, just made me laugh!

In the end, both man and woman always need each other, that's how we are created by Allah S.W.T. Obviously, to fulfill this necessity, we must use the right channel and path, allowed by the religion and blessed by our Almighty Creator, Allah S.W.T. Are you in the right path?

Wallahu musta'an.
