-"Mom! I can't believe you can make snacks and a baby human all at the same time. Impressive!" (I was pregnant with Ruby)
-"Dad. When were you born?" Dad says: 1978. "Holy cow, you lived in the nineteen hundreds??!!"
-"Mom. Thanks for making us a baby human." (shortly before Ruby was born)
-Andrew had Warren at the gym in the locker room. Warren saw a naked man and made a comment.... Andrew explained to him they can walk around naked in the locker room.
Warren's response was "Welcome to Hollywood. Where men see other men naked."
Andrew said "Shut up Warren"
Then Warren said "you owe me a quarter dad" (for saying shut up)
Andrew: I'll give you a hundred quarters if you'll stop talking.

Six Years Old!
How in the world has it been six years since my baby boy was born? He makes me so happy. He says the funniest things. He is such a sweet, smart, silly kid. Anyone that knows him says he is "wise beyond his years." There truly isn't a kid on this planet quite like him. When he woke up on his birthday and said "I feel like a man." What a little stud.
We partied all week long!!
We started with a fun party at the Fisher's house.
Birthday morning. The traditional streamers and balloons on the door. And "special bread". Warren has to leave for school at 7:25am, so it was an early morning to get breakfast in, but we did it.
After school, my parents took us to lunch at Warren's favorite spot. Rock Creek Pizza. Then to our house to open presents. And Andrew's mom drove all the way out to our house to bring Warren cupcakes. He's lucky to have such awesome grandparents.
I am pretty sure Warren is my dads favorite grandkid. Warren asked for scooter ramps for his birthday. And boy did my dad deliver. They are AMAZING. They are in 3 pieces so Warren can arrange them how he wants. So cool.
We had a little party with the Winchester family.
The highlight of Warren's 6th birthday, taking his friends to the Jazz Game. It was so much fun. The best part was when the Jazz Ladies came to our row and said "Warren!! Happy birthday." I love that they know him. I think they love him as much as he loves them. They are darling girls. They brought a little surprise for all of the kids. He's a pimp.

What an Epic Birthday!
"Camping"
There aren't a lot of Saturdays that we don't have something to do. Well, one came around and it was a beautiful day. So we packed the boys up and went up the canyon. It was 65 degrees in the valley. Not as warm up the canyon, but still warm. The boys got to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. They were able to throw rocks, pick up sticks and climb mountains. A perfect day for a little boy.
Weston James
I love this little dude. He calls us Warren James, Mommy James or Daddy James. Because Weston's middle name is James, so he thinks it applies to everyone.
He is loving indoor soccer.
He learned how to ride a 2-wheeler. Yes, he's only 3. Part of it is awesome skills they inherited from their dad. The other part is an amazing father who refuses to raise pansies. It's a good combo.
He has his special spot in the house. By the couch on the heater vent. We find him there a lot.
Halloween activies
Our favorits October activities are Cornbelly's, Garden After Dark and Witches at Gardner Village. We lucked out with prefect weather for all of them.
Weston's school went to Cornbelly's for a field trip. I don't have pictures though.
Garden After Dark.
Witches at Gardner Village
Halloween
I love Halloween. Not the spookey, scary stuff. But I love the excitement in the kids. And pumpkin carving. And the smell of candles burning in pumpkins. And cute costumes. Chili. Donuts. What a fun time of year.
The boys both wanted to be soldiers. It makes it easier that way. Then they aren't fighting over who gets what costume.
Westi had a party at school that morning. Then we headed to see grandma Fisher.

Then off to my parents for the party. My mom does a mega event. Pumpkin carving. Scavenger hunts. Donut bobbin. Witches brew. The works.
My dad takes pumpkin carving pretty seriously.
Weston got to bob for oreo's since donuts have eggs in them. |
Warren says the darndest things
-Warren leaves early for school every morning. Lately it has been dark. It was daylight savings yesterday. So this morning when he went outside to wait for the lady that picks him up he said "Oh crap. It's light. I'm late."
-He woke up on his 6th birthday and said "Oh, I feel like a man!"
I wish I remember all of the other funny things he says. Because he says a lot.
