Feet up...

It wasn't an easy task but we were finally able to photograph Clara's new sofas.
If you have no idea what I'm writing about, you need to read this post.

Go ahead, take your time...we'll wait for you...
Ready?

Here are the new Family Room Sofas...

Kind of a very very very light greenish...
Kind of a very very very neutral gray...

The perfect complement for all the aqua and white accents...
and super comfy...

I bet you can't guess who is enjoying them the most?

Procrastination...

We are happy to announce that one more project has been done.

We kept these cute chairs in the garage for over 3 years

and it took us 2 hours to finish them....

Can you say Procrastination?????

Well, Ladies, here they are now...

...No. 1 and No. 2

They will be taken to Country Roads today, so if you need a couple of sweet chairs for the kitchen nook or the sunroom...Hurry up and get them!
Remember that...

Italian love...

These , believe or not, have been my end-of-the-dining-table-chairs for the last 5 years...

Great legs...

Not so great, actually, horrendous seat cover!!
...For obvious reasons they have been wearing slipcovers...
...2 choices: plain cream and blue toile...
... Neither one a good fit...

So I decided to finally fix that...
A couple of yards of white canvas,
a very easy pattern,
2 cans of spray paint
and some printing later,
this is what I came up with....

When thinking about the graphics for the back of the chairs, many things came to mind...

Numbers...like that look but I've being seeing it more and more...
Crown...cute for a bedroom, not crazy about it for my dining room...
French writing...oui, oui, hmm, maybe not....
Italian writing...Bellissimo!!!

My family and I LOVE Italy so I copied the writing from 2 street signs...

Now every time we look at our chairs, we think of Italy, of our wonderful time there and the irresistible need to come back pretty soon because...
Tony Bennett left his heart in San Francisco...but mine is in the streets of Tuscany!

Ciao, cara!!!
