There is no way I will be able to keep with the challenge from my sister Barb, she is going to post daily for the month of Dec. I am already behind with today being the 4th, maybe I can post twice in one day to catch up :). I think that will count.

This was a quick card, I found this patterned paper in my scrap bin and though it would be perfect for a simple card. I really should dig deeper in my scraps, I might just find treasure.

Supplies: Brown and cream cardstock, misc patterned paper, Inkadinkado-Birthday wishes, Pink Pebbles Candy dots-Brown.

Cheers,
Nina

It was a beautiful sunny day today, the news was talking about a big storm for the West coast and I imagine it will roll in tonight but it sure was nice today though. I had thought we would have rain, and being as I had the day and empty house to myself I planned on some craft time.

It was wonderful to put on the IPod with a book, brew a tea and just play with some paper and glue. I managed 5 cards, a couple of those Halloween and fall which I have been procrastinating about for weeks.

This card was not one of them, but I can post it without fear the recipient will see. I do not recall where I found the Designer paper, it had overlaying glitter parts and does not take away the masculine quality of the card.

Supplies: Cream and brown cardstock, Unknown designer paper, Inkadinkado-Birthday wishes, brown Offray ribbon, brown embellishment dots, Provo craft-2x2 Vintage die.

Cheers,

Nina

I hate that when I get up in the morning now it is getting darker, the sun is still shining during the day but I am already starting to morn the loss of summers long days.

So I am taking a break from workshops this month, so I will have to get creative on my own so I have something to post. I have be really drawn (well when am I not) to natural colors, this time though it is browns and tans I guess they seem to inspire me the most.

My husband send me to a blog of a lady who had been to this store, she had posted picture of how hidden the entrance almost was to walk into an amazing space with 15000 stamps. Want to drool a little? http://www.vivalasvegastamps.com/. Be patient the site loads a little slow due to Vegas Glitz. If you want to skip the store and just look at some of the pictures of the stock check out the blog http://vivalas.blogspot.com/. I am promised that when we next go to visit Vegas I get a run to look at stamps.... big mistake.. I asked if we were bring extra luggage :)
