DT post for Craft-Room Challenge 'Home Decor'

So another 2 weeks have flown by and it is once again time for our challenge at Craft-Room Challenge.  The theme this week is 'Home Decor'  and was chosen by the fantastic Maria.  I have decided to create a wall hanging canvas for you, I hope you like it.

The paper I have used to back the canvas has been in my stash for years!  Don't know where it is from, That has been layered onto brown card.  The hessian is also from my stash as are the buttons, and cross stitch thread I have used in the four corners.

Side view of canvas hanging.

The image is a Kenny K digi called 'Bike kid' He has been coloured with pro markers and cut out  using scissors and a craft knife, then atatched using silicon glue.

The Dream big stamp (unknown creator) has been stamped ono a Marianne creatables die cut, then the whole thing has been inked with brown and green, then heat embossed with ultra thick embossing powder.

Close up of Buttons, and charm clock charm from my stash.

I will be entering this challenge into the following challenges

DT card for Craft-Room Challenege 'Masking'

Well another 2 weeks are gone and it is once again time for a new challenge this week over at Craft-Room Challenge.  Our theme for the next fortnight is 'Masking' and has been chosen by the lovely Esther.  i would also like to thank everyone who took part in our White on white challenge this past fortnight, your entries were all so inspiring, I wish you all luck and hope you will join us again this challenge.

This card is a simples card!  No DP's just ink and a bit of brown card!

The 3 male stamps are all Greeting farm stamps and have been coloured with pro markers. The images are all from the roll call set, called Jeremy(middle) Dylan(left) and flirty Edward (right).  Jeremy was stamped first and is the image I masked then I stamped the other 2 images next to him to make it look like he was in front.
I have never done masking before, but actually found it extremely easy and the card was made in half the time it would have usually taken me as would have normally stamped all 3 and cut them out and decoupaged them!
I have wrapped cross stitch thread around the white card and used a fimo chocolate star as a charm.

The Cool birthday stamp is from Lili of the valley and the gold pearl gems are from my stash.
This is my mask!

I will be enterin this card into the following challenges.

DT card for Craft-Room challenge 'White on white'

Well have 2 weeks gone by already?!  Where does the time go?  So This fortnights challenge at The Craft-Room Challenge has been chosen by me 'White on white'.  I just love the effect of this although it can be quite daunting.  But as we all love a challenge in our crafting this is my challenge for you!  Be brave and have a go you will probably suprise yourself and have a great time in the process.

Don't forget the winner will recieve a £10 voucher to spend in the Craft-Room Store

I have used a swirl embossing folder for the background, some lace as a border and a Square lace Nestie for my butterfly to rest on!  The Nestie has been glittered around the edge.

For the butterfly I have used a metallic stencil and pearl liquid embossing paste, a spatula to spread it throught the stencil.  Once the stencil has been taken off I have used a white(transparent) glitter to cover the butterfly and added 3 gems for its body and 2 for the feelers.

The flower is a Marianne creatables die as are the swirls, and I have added gems and pearls and glitter as an embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges

DT card for Craft-Room Challenge 'Summer holiday'

Well here we are again, another 2 weeks have flown by and it is time for another challenge her at Craft-room challenge.  The theme this fortnight is Summer Holiday and as I am  now home in Bude for my Summer holiday the theme is very apt!  You all did amazingly well at our butterfly challenge last fortnight, and I hope to see you all again this fortnight.

I have used my minds eye summer papers for the backing on this card and an Xcut heart boarder punch

Side view

The image is called 'Kate chilling' and is a digi stamp from the stitchy bear store and she has been cut out with a scalloped nesties die that has been inked around the edge.  She has been coloured with pro markers and I have used glossy accents on the rubber ring and the glass.

The flower is my favourite unknown stamp!  which has been coloured with pro markers, I have added a button for the centre, the swirls are marianne creatables  and I have added pearl gems to the ends and to the scallops on the nesties die.

I created the sentiment on my computer and punched it out, thin inked the edge.  I have mounted it onto a nellie snellen die cut and hug a charm from my stash onto it.

I hope you like it

DT card for craft-room challenge 'Butterflies'

Well teh two weeks have flown by again and we are back for another challenge at the craft-room.
This fortnight our theme is 'butterflies' and I took the chance to use one of the stamps I have in my collection that I haven't used in years!  The stamp is a medallion stamp, but it doesn't say on the stamp whomade it so if anyone know I would love to hear so I can give them a mention! So stop on over to craft-room challenge and join us again :o)

I have kept it fairly simples this time, I embossed the base layer of black card withswirls, then layered it in gold mirror card. I used some sticky roibbon for my stash accross the bottom.

Side view to show the layers :o)

the next layer the stamp has been stamped with  versa mark and heat embossed with gold powder. The layer has been mounted onto more gold mirror card and has 4 brads, one in each corner.

I have then gittered all the layers of the butterfly with varying shades of green, and added some mini gems.

I hope you like it :o)

I will be entering this card into the following challenges
