Aí está o mais novo álbum do Incognito, projeto inglês de Acid Jazz liderado pelo 'Bluey' Maunick: Tales From the Beach
E esse álbum SUPEROU todas as minhas expectativas. Eu realmente esperava algo como o álbum "Eleven" ou "Bees and Things and Flowers" que, na minha opinião, deixou meio que a desejar. 'Tales From The Beach' veio com a cara do Incognito!
E ainda com a participação do vozeirão da Maysa Leak, Imaani e do Tony Momrelle.
É um álbum suave, cheio de groove e chique: Tudo ao mesmo tempo.
Não esqueçam de ouvir: Step Aside, Happy People, N.O.T., Freedom To Love, Never Look Back e Tales From the Beach. Minha preferidas!

"Always There" é uma SUPER MÚSICA eu diria.
O instrumental (cheio de metais e afins) foi composto em 1976 pelo saxofonista Ronnie Laws, integrante da antiga banda de funk "Earth, Wind & Fire".
A música ganhou letra por um grupo de soul chamado "Side Effects" com a vocalista Helen Baylor que era cantora gospel também. E enfim em 1992, com a participação do "furacão" Jocelyn Brown, o Incognito fez a gravação da música que virou um dos clássicos do grupo.
A música também rendeu um remix, que é usado no clipe super nostálgico e ainda ganhou uma reinterpretação no álbum de 2006 "Bees, Things and Flowers!" do Incognito. Nessa versão a música perdeu a característica dançante tornando-se uma música mais calma e cheia de acordes menores.
