Under The Weather?

I have another get well card for you today.....since it's umbrella season and all!!  This time it's for One Crazy Stamper featuring the Inky Antics HoneyPoP set Umbrella Friends.

I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored them with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. 

These cards are fun because the designing isn't just left to the outside of the card....but continues inside as well!  Check out that adorable HoneyPoP umbella element! 

Other elements on this card are designer paper from My Mind's Eye, Candi embellishments and a touch of Faux Stitching.

April Guest Designer Naomi

I want to introduce you today to Naomi, one of our April Guest Designers.  She created a couple of gorgeous cards for us this month at OCS.

 

 

 

 

Her card uses the Flourishes set Baby Love.  This is so perfect in pink!  I especially love the pearls and bow.

Just Read

A few months ago, I wrote a post on my blog about bookmarks. About how I loved making bookmarks and giving them.  I stated that I love the feel, smell, experience of a paper book and just didn’t think I would ever get and E-reader.  Well, I received a Kindle Fire for Christmas and I am sooo in love with it. I have read so many more books since I’ve had the Kindle. I read a lot before but now it’s a little bit out of control.  My favorite part is checking out Kindle books from my local library from the comfort of my own home. Oh and how I love Amazon’s large free selection of classics for the Kindle.

All that being said, I still love paper books. Especially my copies of well read favorites.  So I will continue with my bookmark making. This little bookmark was made with a Stampaive stamp and some Echo Park papers.

Congrats Boy!

Each month I get a couple of sweet surprises in my One Crazy Stamper Design Team Pack. And this Stampaive stamp was one of them this month. Perfect for our challenge this month at OCS which is Boy/Man cards!  I made this card for my nephew who just had his 8th Birthday.  As usual I colored this image up with my Copics and added some of my favorite MME paper.

Dainty Doile

I made a card to show you today with some new goodies from the One Crazy Stamper store! Look Ma, no Copics! Can you believe it?! First I used some My Mind’s Eye chipboard and buttons. If you read my blog, you know that MME is one of my favorite companies.  I also just receive the Whimsy Tab 1 Die and stamp set.
