Weekend Sketch Challenge Sample

Here is my sample for this week's Weekend Sketch Challenge! I hope you'll play along with us! A little while ago, my sweet, sweet friend Jodi sent me this Pretty Poppies paper pack and stamp set from Autumn Leaves. Sadly, this is the first time I've used them! I am LOVING them, though! :) Thanks again, Jodi! You're awesome!

I stamped the flourish pattern on Kiwi Kiss cardstock and the big flower in the oval. I added some Smooch that I got at Taylored Expressions to my flower. I love the way it sparkles! The sentiment is from the Handwritten Notes set from Papertrey Ink.

Beate Weekend Sketch #53

Time for another one of Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenges! I really liked this layout a lot. I liked it so much that I couldn't decide on a stamp set to use for it. LOL I was going to make a more elegant card, but nothing was working. . .so cute is what I ended up with! :) This is the Mindy's Zoo set from Autumn Leaves. I got this a long while ago from the Paper Pretties Boutique and this is the first time it has seen ink. Sad, I know. I still think it's as cute as the day it went in my shopping cart!
