...It's the time of the year that I dread in the Stampin Up World as we change over to a new catalog...While I am excited about seeing the new products and line up ...I am also sad to see some of my fave stamps and tools on the retired list...to disappear into the horizon. So I put my big girl panties on and decided to celebrate the ONES that made it...SURVIVED for another year and made it into the new catty....phew! So this Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop showcases and celebrates the products that made it ....
This is a circular blog hop..so no matter where you start..you will eventually end up going full circle as you check out all the blogs..So you may have arrived from Marie Green's great projects and can check out my projects and than head on over to Marsha Reed's wonderful inspiration.
My bestie lent me her *Jar of Love set and I am totally sold and it's on my wish/want/need list now..such an enabler she is! ;) Wanted to try the shadow box card from the Splitcoast Stampers' tutorials...modified my card slightly by wrapping the box with a strip of dsp around the sides to reinforce the shape. Added a *Lots of Label frame to the front window and next time, I would add an acetate window...as the glue had already set when I thought about the acetate window..The cover wraps from the front to the back; however I glued the back page to the back of the box for more stability... Left the card without a sentiment as I couldn't decide whether this would be a Birthday card or a Thinking of You card so I will add the banner across the front of the window, when I decide!
