Birthday Wishes anyone?
I'm on a roll...well for now anyways... JUST ADD INK's sketch challenge...Seriously working with the Vintage 2012 MME Boho Pattern paper collection...I now totally understand the value of pattern paper collections whereas when I first started cardmaking..it would be one piece of pattern paper from this line and another piece of pattern paper from another line..which makes it challenging when the lines are vintage to coordinate with current colours...I Lucked out as this line has been a dream to work with...The polka dotted glimmer pool party is from Making Memories....definitely vintage..Sprinkled a few sparkly sequins to finish the cards...So 4 more Birthday cards for the stash...
Thanks for dropping by to have a quick peek.
Happy Tuesday!

Happy Birthday
Thought I would give another try with the Freshly Made Sketches' weekly challenge..Cecile's sketch...Was stumped as to the lower embelishment but I think I've sorted it out with the gold berry sprig with some sparkly sequin accents..Working through the pattern paper and glimmer paper stash...one sheet at a time. A couple Birthday cards! Volia!
Thanks for dropping by to have a peek.
Happy Monday!

WWC190- Gail's Feminine "Anything Goes" Challenge
Card Opened for Display
Close Up to show more detail and dimension
Card folds flat to mail
Welcome back everyone to the 4th week and last week of my Guest Designer opportunity for the Watercooler Wednedays Challenges...So this week's challenge is Gail's Feminine "Anything Goes" and I need a WOW card for a friend's upcoming milestone birthday. I thought I would give this Window Box thinlet pop up card a go. The great thing is the card mails flat and displays three dimensional. Since it's a bit gloomy here with the lovely rainy Fall here..I decided I wanted a card with some colour...pool party and calypso coral are one of my fave colour combos and thought I would add a touch of lemon lime twist. Embossed the decorative squares and the background with the Tin Tile Embossing folder and lightly sponged with Crumb Cake to highlight the pattern for a more vintage feel. Voila!
Deets: All Stampin Up
The How to Make details for the Window Box Thinlet - Pop Up card is on You Tube ~ mitosustampin. Thank you for the inspiration.
Please check out the Design Team's inspiration and make sure to leave some blog love. Looking forward to seeing your projects.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Just Add Ink colour combination challenge: Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist.
Thanks for stopping by.
Smiles,
Sheri :)

Enjoy your special day!..it's a WINNER!
Thought I would give the Watercooler Wednesday's Challenge a try...this time around..it's Heidi's Something Feminine ~ Anything Goes. I've been meaning to try the pop-up book card and to spice things up...added a couple more challenges: Just add Ink's challenge ~ Just add Stitching and Sunday Stamp's sketch challenge..the hat trick combo! ;) Colour combination is Mint Macaron, Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry with Delightful Dijon..
Pulled out the Stippled Blossoms...one of my fave retired sets..Finished the card with some vellum winged bees..Voila!
Deets: Stampin Up except for designer paper
EDIT: Woot woot...after coming home from working all day...I just found out that Annette from Sunday Stamps chose my card as one of the Top Cups for Sunday Stamps' sketch challenge. Totally made my day and I am looking forward to the next Sunday Stamps' challenge. :)
Thanks for dropping by.
Smiles :)
