So I wasn't sure I was going to be able to tackle this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge..as it was a bit chaotic here...Managed to start and finish 4 cards..mixing and matching the vintage pattern papers...finishing with the stamped and embossed with white gingerbread houses on the chocolate chip cardstock and punched. Loving these peppermint embellies that my bestie gifted me. I am loving the ribbon nows as I have a ton of ribbon that's been collecting dust for forever and a day.. Voila! 4 cards completed and now I'm at 229/240 card goal...and ahead of plan..even better. Which is your fave?

Merry Christmas Snowman

My take on the Just Add Ink's latest sketch challenge from Kim. I inked and coloured a couple of the vintage never used snowman stamp of mine...The image was perfect for the sketch and I feel the sketch really showcases the stamped image. Dusted dazzling diamonds as all snowmen deserve some shimmer and bling to fancy them up. Used red glimmer paper for the mats as Christmas cards need more sparkle and layered the matted image on foam tape for dimension. Finished with the sentiment embossed with white on black cardstock. Voila 2 more cards for the Christmas stash.

Merry Christmas Ginger and Penguin

I've been wanting to try the FMS challenge this week with Cecile's sketch. So many ideas floating around and I love the simplicity of the sketch. Since I opted for Christmas..red glimmer cardstock for a little oomph...Layered the scalloped squares with foam tape..embossed the white sentiment on black cardstock...finished Mr Gingerbread man with a couple red metal flat backed embellishments for buttons..and a red glitter bow tie.. Second version was with Mr Penguin, punched out of Balck Glimmer cardstock and some of my most fave vintage Christmas dsp...from the coveted pattern paper stash... Entering this card into CAS Christmas Card Challenge...September's theme: Sparkle and Shine..loving the sparkly pattern papers with the red glimmer cardstock base and scallop frames. Voila, a couple more cards for the Christmas card stash..

MERRY CHRISTMAS & happy BIRTHDAY...

Working on Christmas cards...and am loving the new to me Gnome for Christmas set...Used this week's Freshly Made Sketches by Jen B for inspiration... Red glimmer cardstock because it's a Christmas card... and I thought to incorporate Just Add Ink's inspiration challenge.. I would try a Birthday card version..using more vintage pattern papers and am loving the balmy blue and pacific point flowers..one of my most fave colour combos: Blues with Yellows. Layered the *happy* sentiment with foam tape and added finished with the *HAPPY BIRTHDAY* embellishment. Voila 3 cards to add to the card stash.

*Merry Christmas Santa

Inspiration for this card was from the MFT Card Challenges' Sketch Challenge and CAS Christmas Card Challenge ~ Santa theme. Coloured the Santa with Copics, dry embossed Santa's beard and added dazzling diamond glitter on the hat brim and the pom-pom. Dry embossed the Soft Sky cardstock with my fave snowflakes' embossing folder..Used some vintage pattern paper for the bottom piece. Stamped and embossed the *Merry Christmas* with white embossing powder on a strip of red cardstock...a simple card to showcase the Santa.

*Flying by on a Snowflake...**Outstanding Design** Winner

Apologize for the poor photo...gloomy day so the lighting wasn't very good. :( 

Up next...a hat trick challenge..CAS Christmas Card Challenge's bird theme, Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge ~ Animal Antics and the Fusion sketch challenge... I really struggle with CAS...so this was a definite challenge for me..Dusted off the unloved penguin stamp and coloured the flying penguin with Copics..stamped the snowflake cluster a few times. Embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder..die cut out the banner and than layered at the top with foam tape...Definitely lots of white space on the card and minimal embellishments...
