Pucker up!

I know I used Blowing Kisses Birgitta here in a Christmas setting before, but she was totally crying out to be paired with some Valentine's paper too :0)  The little ticket that her stool is sitting on is from a K&CO paper stack and it says "Pucker Up!" so I thought it was perfect for Birgitta and of course had to use it.  It's a pretty simple bookmark, but for something that you shove in between pages I guess it kind of needs to be more on the simple side!

ATS Preview Day!

I know, I know, you're like "WHAT? Valentines Day cards?? I'm still on Christmas!"  Well so am I, I just took a little break from them because I thought this new sweetie "Lula Big Heart" from ATS was just crying out for some Valentines Day paper! 

Her little heart sign board is actually blank, I just used one of the new AmyR Heart-y Sayings stamps on it and also on the heart die cut which is also being released this month at ATS.  I love Lula because you can used her for so many different types of occasions, I just went for the obvious this time ;0)

Farm Fresh Friday - Digital Get Down!

A lot of us are big fans of rubber stamps, but TGF also has a huge selection of digital stamps.  This week we want you to break out your favorite TGF Digi Stamps!  That's right, make anything you want just use a TGF digi stamp on it.

I used this totally beautiful image called "Kissy, Kissy".  I just think Anya and Ian look so beautiful here and I love their little bridal outfits too :0) All the paper I have is rather bright but I think the colors on these pieces were soft and pretty and perfect for a wedding card.

ATS Wed Challenge - Sketch

So this week at the ATS Wed Challenge we have... a sketch by me!  This is my first time making a sketch so hopefully you don't all hate it :0)  I paired this great AmyR sentiment with the super fabulous "Samantha" by Kraftin Kimmie.  She was SO MUCH fun to color!!!  She strikes me as being a sassy chicka, so I added some fun red highlights to her hair and lots of makeup because she doesn't look like she skimps on the lipstick and eyeshadow to me ;0)

ATS - Preview Bouquet Birgitta

The newest addition in the Swiss Pixies is Bouquet Birgitta!  I think she's great for a wide variety of holidays and events like Mother's Day, get well cards and Valentine's Day also.  Paired her up with the new "Little Tag Set" which includes both stamps and a coordinating die.  Use the flower stamp from the Little Tag Set to make a little flower vine on the side of the card, this stamp/die set is really very versatile.

You're As Sweet As Apple Pie!

Got this Kraftin Kimmie stamp a few weeks ago and I thought somehow she and the sentiment that came with her might work well on a Valentine's Day card and since KK was having a "Seeing Red" challenge this week too I decided to make it work :0)  Thought it came out pretty cute, she's just so fun!

Non-Traditional Wedding Card

My friend is getting married soon and I was having an awful time trying to find a wedding stamp I really liked (for those of you who are new to my blog, I am a self-professed stamp snob).  I pulled out this  set from There She Goes and decided that maybe I would make something a little less...traditional :0)

Thought this little washer/dryer set with the "You are the perfect pair" sentiment came out pretty cute!  I also used some of the only SU ribbon roll I own, this pretty 'Certainly Celery' color to make a big happy bow.  What better time than a wedding for a big happy bow?

CA&F Monday Mania with Suzi!

It was my buddy Suzi's turn to host Monday Mania @ CA&F this week and her challenge was to make an easel card and add ribbon.  Definitely a challenge for me because  I've never made an easel card!  Suzi was kind enough to help me with the measurements though and I figured it out eventually.

My daughter helped me pick colors and papers, so it's a bit all over the place but oh, well!

Hershey Sweet Treat

For "Wild Card Wednesdays" @ CA&F's this week, Lysa challenged us to make a Valentine's sweet treat item.  I picked a Hershey bar - I like my chocolate straight up, lol - and decided to cover almost the whole front of it.  I used Lolli Anya because I haven't inked her up yet and she was lonely.  Delish!

Oh Stella, My Stella!

I have a platonic girl-crush on a cartoon character :0)  This is Stella, a creation by Miss Amy for TGF and she's my new fave stamp! I don't know whether it's her awesome hair, flirty dress or what but I think she's just the cutest and I was SO excited to get her in the mail this week.

Broke down and used some of my cupcake paper and I got to use my new Martha Stewart cupcake border punch!! I have cupcake jammies too, if you were wondering, LOL.

CA&F Monday Mania with Caz!

Caz challenged us this week to use Anya/Ian or two other TGF characters as a "couple".  I immediately turned to Guy Ian and Miss Anya, my Guy Ian set has been sadly underused.

I got the paper from the $1 aisle at Target (aka "My Other Home"). The paper caught my eye b/c on there are some CUTE sheets of cupcake patterened paper in it and I love all things cupcakes.  Now you don't see the cupcake paper b/c I'm having a hard time using it even though I bought three packs of the paper and that breaks down to like $0.13 a sheet.  I have issues, leave me alone ;0)

Did some slight altering - Took the plaid off Ian's shirt (don't look too close, it didn't all come off, lol) and changed Miss Anya's shorts to a skirt and took the argyle off her socks.
