Sugar Creek Hollow

Give Thanks for Autumn! (using autumn colors)

I pulled out a very old stamp (feels so good to get them out doesn't it !) from PSX 2003.  There are so many of these kinda trucks available now...but this one is still my favorite...

Copic/Pro Marker Challenge at the Outlawz

Hello,
It's the last Friday of the month so over at the Friday's Copic/Promarker Design Team  at the Outlawz  it's our favorite ANYTHING GOES challenge!

Have fun - create something with an oldie but goodie (which I did - used a 1999 PSX Stamp) or pull out something new that has been calling your name LOL...or use a favorite image - just because!!!

Sugar Creek Hollow Challenge

Hi there!
Welcome to another Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow. We want you to make vintage, shabby chic or primitive cards featuring something that "was inspired by a photo" and include your photo in your post - fun fun fun!

I found this gorgeous pic of lilacs over on Pinterest!

and here's what I came up with using my old PSX Lilac stamp (that I love)

wish I could draw....because I love that blue vase in the photo!

One random winner will receive a digi of our choice and a winner's badge to display. In addition, the Design Team will choose one project as Card of the Week and the creator will receive a badge and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot.

Fore-tee Birthday Card for golfer


Back to the Inspiration Mosaic stamp! Check out Melanie's blog from my sidebar...awesome cards with this stamp. She has a tutorial on using the two squares that come in the stamp set...so I tried it! I kept thinking of using this for a golf card...and here it is! love saying "Foooorrrrr-tee !!"....wish I was that age again....or maybe not LOL

Stamp Set: Inspiration Mosaic by Melanie from Gina K, golf bag from PSX 1999
Paper: SU whisper white, red, black
Ink: SU red, black
Colored with Copics: C1, C3, C5, C7, W1 and R29
Embellishments: SU black ribbon, puffy paint to make the golfballs
Technique: matting, masking

hope you can use this idea for a golfer you know...maybe I should do another one in "pink and black" for the ladies :)
