Today is the start of a new challenge over on Fab and Funky..The lovely Chris
 has chosen Anything but Christmas.....and we are having a D.T call.....details over on the blog...

Its was nice to get away from Christmas and made a birthday card....

I started with a 5x7 card....some craft card from stash...some dotty paper from American Crafts...the stamped image is from Clearly Besotted...as is the sentiment...Ive used my water colour pencils....nice and flat for posting!

Just a Note...

 Hello...Im very late with my posting today....as my computer would not start ....and as many of you know Im a computer numpty...but with the help over the phone at last Im back on line....

Today is the start of a new challenge over on Fab and funky and its a nice easy one which is add a button...hosted by the lovely Neva....

I started with the image which I have coloured with Promarkers....image and sentiment from Clearly Besotted...I cut it with a spellbinders Classic Scalloped die....Ive used two embossing folders for the background the flower one is from Sizzix and the leaf one is from Ultimate Crafts... then I found some lace and a bit of ribbon and last added the button....

Whimsy Owl...

Good morning...

Real Stamp...no digis or printed images....

This is the card I made for Debs when she was in hospital.....She is resting at home but feels better each day....

I stamped Whimsy Owl....and coloured him green....as he is not well!!! with Promarkers... and cut him out with a ovel die Die-Namics...and chalked the background to take off the white.....paper and card from stash....stamped sentiment  from Clearly Besotted...

We are off lunch time to see Debs since she came home so I catch up with you you later...

Pink and Green Christmas...

Hello....The sun is out here in Essex and been busy with one thing and another....but had a afternoon yesterday to make a few cards.....


I started with a 6x6 card and found some old paper and lime green card from stash....flowers cut with pearl card and leaves from Tim Holtz ...sentiment Clearly Besotted.....pearls from The Works....

Hello....Hope you all are keeping well....my lip is healing well....Wet old day here so its catching up day....
I taking a break from Christmas cards and made two Birthday ones....both are 6x6  and started with a stamped image from Carabella Art Stamps which I embossed with some copper powder and just coloured in the eyes...Yellow card from Papermill...paper from Stash which a used a stencil on with some Distress Oxide inks....Sentiment from Clearly Besotted.....
The 2nd one stamp as before just used more male paper...

Good Morning ....Hope you are well....Had a lovely pub lunch with Keith's Sister  Jean and Brother-in-Law Bob yesterday and the sun was out for Bob's 90th Birthday...he loved his card...

Thank you for all your good wishes on my MRI..All went went well I just closed my eyes and thought of a big bar of chocolate!!!

For Lesley...

Hello...Hope all are keeping warm...
we had beautiful sunshine over the
weekend ...but still very chilly...but now rain...

Today's card Is for my friend Lesley....who is going into hospital today to fix her broken shoulder...after a fall last May !!! and has been on painkillers ever since...she was told after the fall and xray she just pulled it...but after being in so much pain and kicking up a fuss asked for a MRI and low and behold a break....
I myself am off this afternoon to see the knee man....

Been to the doctors to pick-up
 a xray form for my knee..before I see the knee man on the 4th of next month...still very painfully...
And some good news my Granddaughter is now all clear so no more trips down to London and no more blood tests and wee samples....

Hope you are all well? I've been to the hospital about my knee last week now waiting for a appointment with the knee man....I must say Essex is a lot quicker than Suffolk...

Todays cards came about went the lovely Emma T sent me a birthday card with the same layout....as I am very late this year with my Christmas card I thought it would make some quick cards this year....and I did ask Emma if it was ok to use her layout before I started.....

Good bye to Grace.....and the new house news.....

Hello....Hope you all are well? ....
As you can see the carpets are gone in my new home and yesterday I had all the down stairs done with hard flooring....forgot to take some photos.....carpets for the stairs,landing and bed rooms are being done next week.....and I am having vinyl the small bedroom which is going to be my craft room...and have painted cream....as Ive got about 10ft missing on space should be fun trying to get everything in!!! good job Ive got a garage for the over flow....

On today,s card which is a sad one.... for Grace passed away on Monday and at 99 is a wonderful age....shame she did not get to 100...lived with her daughter and got up washed,dressed and even made dinner every night....was picking runner beans in the garden the weekend!....

Christmas flowers and Good news ....

Good Morning....odd start to the day....grey sky no sun....but Im sooo happy....After posting my card on Monday my solicitor rang to ask would I like to exchange on the house.....and I pick up the keys on the 29th ....next week.....I got a few jobs to do before I move so it will be a few weeks yet.......this will be my forever home as I will NOT be doing this again....
Also I would like to thank all my buddies for the get well wishes for my Granddaughter....

Hello...Hope you all are not too hot....I just can't sleep in this heat! got a fan going all night and still hot....please let it rain soon....I never thought I would be saying that...lol...

I've been busy with shows and the Owls but had time to make a quick card for a buddies birthday....got a set of ice cream dies from china so had a go making a card.....card and paper from stash ...sentiment Clearly Besotted....the flake I just cut a strip and put it though with a embossing folder....then added a few gems...
