I really wanted to go somewhere and get out of the heat, however by the time we pack up for a few days, take time to travel and spend the money on gas we decided it would be better to go somewhere in town and just relax and enjoy our time out of the house (without making dinner, doing laundry, being on the computer, doing dishes)!We headed to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort (we've heard great things about this place) and we enjoyed our stay for the long weekend. The kids played in the pool, ate pizza by the pool, watched a movie by the pool and pretty much loved every second of it. They passed out frozen grapes, cold wash cloths to cool off, and ice water. When we went to get cold treats they were out of so much stuff (from the busy holiday weekend) so they gave us drinks, Popsicles and popcorn at no charge! Thank you very much

Stella did great, just lounged with me by the pool most of the time - we did cool off a few times!
Ashlyn & Weston loved being at "The Hotel" played great together and didn't want to come home. I'm thinking this will have to be an annual thing for us from now on!
*PS- Stella finally stood on Blake's hand, I only say finally because the older kids did this much sooner, she's getting so big (2.5 months)!

I'm glad you guys were able to get away for awhile and relax. Looks like it was fun! We've done that a couple times just as a couples getaway and it's so nice. No long drives & you can get right to relaxing :)
