Teacher Gift

I decided to make a quick gift for my Daughter's teacher for the start of the new year.
I found this downloadable digital collage on Facebook.
(I am so sorry, I can not for the life of me remember where it came from.  If you know where it came from please leave me a comment letting me know so I can give credit where credit is due.)
Anywho, I wanted to add Designs on Cloud 9 patterns to this project, so I covered up some of the elements in the collage and added my own such as the 2 bear .png's from the "school bears" pattern set and some flowers that came with my digital program.  I then printed it out and added it to an inexpensive frame that I got from Walmart for $3.00.  I guess you can call this a somewhat Hybrid project since I mixed a paper element with digital.  I used a flower .svg from the "Fancy Flower" pattern set.
This is how it turned out.  I hope you like it.
Thanks for visiting!

Water Distressed Cardstock Flowers

Well, when I saw these on Gabrielle's Blog ~ Such a Pretty Mess, I knew that I had to play. I made them all one color, but in the future I will use some complimenting colors. They were so easy peasy, my 5 year old daughter even made one... hers is the yellow one.
Pretty good right! Great project for the little ones they can crumple up the flowers once they are spritzed with the water of glimmer mist.
(she said to me... " you really want me to crumple up this pretty flower???")
I dabbed the edges with my cats eye ink after they were all assembled, I was too excited to see them put together...and a little lazy, really I am an impatient person, I want to see the results right away... no time to detail...LOL! My mom says I am my fathers child... she is like OCD when it comes to detail - scary how different we are... both Aries too. Go figure!
Anyway on to the pics of the flowers...

But on this one below I took a little time and I inked the edges of this one and stamped a flourishy image on each layer of it. When I sprayed it with the water the image faded and ran a bit, but I like the effect it gave it ...a soft look. Now I have to cut out some leaves and make somthing to put them on.
Thanks for looking! Have a Great Holiday!
