Cat Lovers Day 4 - Go Chickens!

So remember yesterday when I suggested we change from Cat Lovers to Chicken Lovers because cats are jerks?  Yeah, well, I guess my cats took offense to that because I came home to this:
dramatic reenactment
I kid you not, the cats knocked my photo of a chicken off the wall. Hubby says he thinks the chicken jumped to its death but I'm not convinced. I guess I'm in the minority though and cats still rule, here at the Cat Lovers Hop. So check out these two hidden cats I colored yesterday. My friend gave me these images so I don't know who makes it.

The top card is a 4.5" square card that I also got from my friend and the bottom card is a regular A2 size. I kept the cards simple to not distract from this busy garden scene and those curious green eyes peering out.

The Good Mom

Okay, so apparently it isn't cool to diss mummies on the internet like I did yesterday. I take it all back. My mum's a good mum. *wink*

Zombies are your Friend

I don't know about you but I'm tired of blue/green/yellow boat cards and blue/cream/brown puppy and kitty cards. Like I mentioned in yesterday's post I learned that there really can be too much of a good thing.

Unless it is a zombie. You can't have too many zombies.

The Fine Print: My logic may be a little faulty. Zombie stamp by Stampotique, chevron ribbon by A Muse Studio, spotted paper and flowers from my stash.

Doo Hickey Flower

I've long admired the Magnolia Doo Hickey lacey looking flower so imagine how thrilled I was to discover that I put it in a recent on-line order. I love it when I surprise myself like that, which is getting easier to do the older I get.

I offered this stamp up for sale at a recent used craft sale with the idea that if it didn't sell it was going back in my stash.  I like it but it is big. I pretty much only make A2 sized cards so the BIG stamps aren't quite as appealing, but I made this 4.5" x 6" monster just to prove that I can.

I Wanna Be a Rockstar

I think I'm getting kind of tired of the secretary gig.  Maybe I can be a rock star instead...
Except I'm not really into staying up late...
And I don't like to travel....

And I don't like loud noises....

And it only takes one Tylenol to knock me out...
So I guess I'll just have to be me!

This is me.
