Not much to see on the desk!

Cards have gone on their merry way.

A coin and stamp collection shop opened in my Town, and they have a bin of non collectables that feed my mail art habit!

some digital stickers I better hurry up and use, and the stencil from the card.

The cards were created for a swap. I dearly love swaps, and I'm beginning to have more time for them again.

This one was in a digital cutting FB group, and only three of us so very doable.

WOYWW-737-Anniversary Review!

It just came to me,I took the photo, and I never posted a photo of my Anniversary ATC's!

Julia's arrived with a bonus pin! so it must be time.

I've been making a lot of post cards lately- why apples? 

IDK- the paint was on the pallet and was saying apples to me.

Lots of heat here in the northern hemisphere  even in our beautiful mountains, and somehow I never feel hot when I am painting.

I hope y'all enjoyed the swap as much as I did, still am, and grateful as ever for the friendship and support of all deskers, swappers or not.

WOYWW 598- More than one...Restraint

 WOYWW?

I used to do a lot of swaps and mingles, and every time I would go through the same cycle of forgetting and them remembering how much I don't enjoy making  multiples.

i've made more cards than ever, and each one is different, and I fell in love with this sentiment so ...

I'm enjoying the restraint of the postcard- can't go overboard with layers and embellishments .

Here in the states we are looking to a pandemic Thanksgiving- not knowing if I will be able to be with my children or not, holding back (more restraint) on preparation incase not.

WOYWW? Amnesia and Patience

You see before you the last stages of assemblage and mailing of the Holiday Gift Mingle (aka Byhand Artists 12 Days of Christmas Gift Mingle)

I forget every year, as I come up with my brilliant giftie that every step has to be multiplied times 14- 12 for the swap, one to mess up and one for good luck!LOL!!!

Now patience must ensue as I wait for my gifts to arrive, and as I am the hostess, I don't get to share mine till the last day so all can share in the element of surprise.

I love gifts- surprises not so much.

We will now return this desk it's traditional last minute holiday mayhem !

I may find you similarly employed as I desk around this week.

Cyberscribes Holiday Exchange 2013

Cyperscribes swaps are fun to do and inspirational to receive .

For the 2013 Holiday exchange I made a tag and a decorated envie.

I'm very happy with the way they turned out..

I used my never ending stash of homemade paper, the new QuietfireDesign, Those we Love are the snowflakes of life, stamp and the snowflake that comes with the set.

The glittery snowflakes are an EK success punch.

The caligraphic Snowflake also by Quietfire,from the Snowflakes are the Butterflies of Winter set.

Envies are stenciled with T!m Holtz Hollybough, Dona Nobis Pacem, and Stardust pen berries.

When in doubt, add gold!
