Boo-tiful Halloween Banner

Hello, Friends!  Kathy here with a Boo-tiful Halloween banner made with spooktacular ribbons and trims. The September Ribbon Club Assortment is all about Halloween, which makes me as happy as can be!

Each pennant is stitched to a long piece of 1 1/2" Black Silky Crush Ribbon. Then I created bow clusters with Halloween Gingham Ribbon on each end of the banner.

Stitch orange ric rac across the top of the banner to add a pop of color and texture.  Then tie long pieces of the Halloween Geometric print between the pennants.  I just tied a simple square knot, then topped with a burlap string bow and button.

Have you started decorating for Halloween yet?  I hope this little banner gives you some inspiration and ideas to get you started!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,

Cupcake Decorated with Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you all! Today I have a super fun project.  It's a Magnetic Cupcake Pin Cushion/Scissor holder, and also holds my crafting dies as I don't want to lose them on my work area. Super fun and decorated with ribbons and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
So for the yellow around the edge I used the Delicate Stitched Satin ribbon, and just pulled two end strings to ruche it up. Next I used the same ribbon to create the flower for the top, and then used the White Satin Double Ruffled Ribbon with the Lemon Delicate Stitched Satin under it. I then used the elastic ruffled ribbon in pink for the top flower. Love the look of this and loved using the Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon to ruche up and use as a ruffled border around my cupcake.

This cupcake was done on my Dream (sewing) Machine in the hoop, and I decorated it using all beautiful supplies from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Really Reasonable Ribbon:
Satin White Double Ruffled Ribbon
Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon Lemon
Elastic Double Ruffled Ribbon
Embellishment flowers

Other supplies
Dream Machine
In the hoop embroidery
Hot glue
sewing pins and needle
Stuffing
and fabrics.

It's nice to have the cupcakes by my side, and it helps to hold things that are magnetic to it, so I don't lose them. In the craft room it's nice to hold little dies, as we all know how we can misplace those. Anyway, this was so much fun to make and decorate. Hope you enjoyed my post for today.
Thank you so much for stopping by and Hope you have a lovely week!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Dressing Up a Candle

Hello ribbon lovers!  It's easy to dress up your plain candle, by using gorgeous ribbon, fabric, flowers and embellishments.
I wrapped canvas fabric around the glass candle holder.  Next, I wrapped and tied a bow with Silky Crush Champagne Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I then added a few of the White Cottage Roses and tuck in vintage buttons and a wooden bird embellishment.
These candle wraps are so easy to make. Why not make a few to decorate your home or give as a gift.

Garden Banner and Card

Hi friends.  My day here at the RRR blog.  The weather has finally turned towards some consistent sunshine and I have been out planting some flowers.  Thought I would share some fun photos of my new gardening cabinet I upcycled and this banner I created using Cherry Baker's Twine from the RRR store to pretty it up.  Ribbons come in handy for decorating as well. I use them all the time to add a pop of color or to carry a theme through.
I simply recycled some seed packets and added some stacked mini peat pots to some twine.  It added some color to my gardening cabinet.  It was so fun breaking out the power tools and getting dirty! I added left over shiplap, fluted molding, and shelves to the inside and then added some old chicken wire to the door.

Oh and because I can't leave with out sharing a card...here is one with a gardening theme of course.
I used Green chevron ribbon along with some adorable flat back gingham buttons.  Okay folks, that is it for me! Thanks for visiting the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog , Cherry

Altered Rabbit Molds

Hi guys, it's Cherry!  My day here at the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog.  I have some cute Easter ornaments for you today.
I used vintage jello molds that had these rabbits on them.  I painted them with chalk paint and distressed them up for a worn appearance with a sanding block and ink.  After that I sprinkled some white glitter on them.
I stitched up some crepe paper fringe and adhered it to the edges along with some pom pom fringe.
I topped each one off with stamped banners and burlap flowers.
These are perfect for an Easter Tree...or could be used in an Easter basket or on a Spring wreath.
Hope you enjoy!  Hugs, Cherry

J O Y Christmas Decor

Hi and happy Monday RRR peeps.  Cherry here sharing this fun decor project.  They are three simple blocks that I had done years ago with scrapbook paper and embellishments etc and added the "JOY" letters too.  I was tired of them and wanted a simple country farmhouse look to them which is what my home decor is.
I was able to take the vinyl 'O' off that I had made with my cricket years ago.  I replaced it with some simple greens and berries!
I wrapped each block with my very, very, very favorite ribbon that I use to decorate with which is the
1-1/2" Red Gingham Ribbon.  I love to use it to add pops of red here and there in my house.
Here they are together.  I love how they turned out.  I have them sitting on a simple antique green Transferware platter and love the simple homey touch it adds to my kitchen.
Home would be a cute idea as well......so many ideas and so little time!!!
Here is also a picture I took of how I use this ribbon in simple ways around the house.   Now tie yourself a bow and deck those halls!!!
Hugs, Cherry

A Little Trinket Box

Hi all,

I have a Design Team project I created for Really Ribbon Ribbon today. A little trinket box I created using some great ribbons, beautiful wild orchid flowers and some fun little trinkets that are new at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.

I do have an announcement before I get started, this is my second to last post I will be doing for the Really Reasonable Ribbon Design Team. I am really sad that I am leaving the team, they are such a great team to work with and Bonnie Garby is just amazing. I just want to say Thank You to Bonnie for having me on your team it has been a pleasure and I've had a great time using your beautiful ribbons and wild orchid flowers. Thank you Bonnie.

Here is my project -
This is my new Trinket Box. Yep, I made myself something for once. lol
I am so excited.  I just love it. I used the beautiful Blue Fern paper collection - Blush.
I am putting my charms and little trinkets inside.
So I used some Wild Orchid Flowers for the top along with the beautiful
Acrylic Rhinestone embellishments.  These are so beautiful! You gotta check these out.

Here is a great shot of two sides of my box showing the vivid pink seam binding and
I also used the Bow It All V3.0 to create my bow.

Here is a great shot of the sheer box pleats white ribbon I used around my edge of my lid.
I used some tiny strands of white pearls I had in my stash that I bought from JoAnn's a while back.

Here are a couple of photos showing the top of my box. I actually placed the seam binding bow down first and then laid my flowers around it, adding my tiny pearl
strands around the flowers. Then I added more flowers around the top.
I just love these little flowers they are just darling.

Just so you know, I have used this Sheer Box Pleated ribbon a few times and I just love it.
I have to say it's probably one of my favorite ribbons from the store as it's so versatile.

Supplies: Really Reasonable Ribbons -

Thank you all so much for stopping by today I so appreciate it. I hope you are inspired to use some of these items. I just love using the ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon as they are just gorgeous, and the flowers are just beautiful. Halloween Banner

Hello folks...my day here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog.  I had so much fun making this banner.  Lots of die cut layers with foam adhesive for dimension.

Seeing the layers and mix of patterns makes me happy! Not to mention the bright happy Halloween colors.
I can never get enough gingham either.  I used both gingham ribbon in black  and in orange.   I used the 1-1/2" width size and it makes the best big chunky bows.
I added some black sequins, clothespins, and little metal rimmed tags spelling boo.

Well folks, that is it for me!  As always hope you enjoyed!  Cherry
