The love of my life faded away
Which opened the door
To a new way
Though times are rough
And facing life is tough
Gentle thoughts of you
Get me through
Remembering the years we shared
Without a care
And the deep undying love
That came from above

I'll never forget
The love we shared
Without despair
For now you are gone
And I'm all alone
But you'll always have my heart

Days come and end
Memories are sometimes bright and dim

(p.s. A few weeks ago these words kept swirling and swirling around in my head. I just felt compelled to write them down. I wrote this in about 5 minutes. The strange thing is that I have never written anything, especially a poem, in my life. Craig was the poet.) Love you, my darling !
