Art Journal Caravan

I am 2 weeks behind with my art journal project. Now that Mother's hospitalization is over and she is settleld into the convalescent center, maybe I can catch my breath and catch up. Week 7 is "using a new technique" and the verb is "share". Week 8 is "Being in Tune" and the verb is "compose".

Art Journal Week 3 - Mend

I can't believe I forgot to post week 3s project. This is Rusty's Dad when he was a baby. Someone wrote the name "Sambo" on the photo. I restored the photo except for taking the name off; it was written so long ago I could not "mend" that part of it.

Art Journal Week 3

Week 3 and I have no idea what to do. The word for the week is "Mend"; make something old into something new.

I have started making a "junque" journal. It is made from a composition notebook and is for keeping everyday things like movie tickets and such. So far, all I have done is put some old scrapbooking paper on some of the pages. After that is dry I have to crumple and ink the other pages. I think it will be fun.
