So, the giveaway.  Can you remember this?

I had lunch with Gail last week and she gave me this all wrapped up in tissue and looking even more beautiful in real life. It really is gorgeous!

If you would like to win this as well as some of the lace, ribbon, twine and pins that Gail used to make it with please leave us a comment on this post and I'll pick a winner on Thursday before I go off for a crafting weekend with Gail and Jane and a few other friends. We need to be able to contact you through your comment so that we can arrange to post your prize

Proud to be Sponsoring ...

That's right, you can now use your Hanglar stamps to enter the challenge and the Just Magnolia Design Team have created some stunning cards, hop on over to the blog to see for yourself and the challenge is a really easy 'Anything Goes' challenge. We are offering a lovely prize of ribbons, lace and embellishments for the challenge winner

Andrea has been playing with her Hanglar stamps to celebrate the start of a regular sponsorship of the Just Magnolia and Hanglar Stanglar challenge blog by the Ribbon Girl  - well it would be rude not to!

(digital papers from here, flowers and leaves from here, ribbons, stickles and pins from the Ribbon Girl of course)

It's been a damp and dark here today so indoor photographs again - we would love to know how other people take such fantastic indoor photographs of their cards

**And even more ribbony news - our fabulously talented design team member Lucy is hosting a week of card sketches on her blog, every day she'll share a sketch and a card example and a little birdy told us there might even be prizes *wink* *wink*

Let's Get Merry

So who could resist this sweet little chap then?

As if the penuin wasn't cute enough Lucy added that fab red and white saddlestitch ribbon which totally finished off the card - and is my favourite ever ribbon by the way!

Design Team Mega Roundup

Warning - Mega huge post coming up!!

Our Design Team have been cooking up a storm during the last few weeks and I have stacks of projects to share with you today

We love every single one of Lucy's cards and these are no exception

I couldn't resist sharing this one, look at all those owls sitting on a 'branch' of Button Twine - how cute?
Jo has made some gorgeous creations, we love all the details she adds to her cards

Just look at this clever card from Jane, she used the Button Twine to make the dog lead!

Wendy has been super busy, we loved how she used the red ruffle ribbon on the edge of the card - and Andrea's all time favourite red saddlestitch ribbon too:)

And these are our projects, Mary was inspired by this post on Kath's blog to have a go at making a miniature wreath hanging

And see those holly berries? they are made using the latest addition to the Ribbon Girl shop - Dewdrop embellishments. Don't they make perfect holly berries?

Finally these are Andrea's cards

Thanks to all of our Design Team girls, we are so grateful for all that you do for us and we love seeing all your creations. We hope Debbie will be back online soon as she is having horrible computer problems (we can't imagine how you feel Debbie with *shock* no internet!!)

We are always interested to see the projects that our customers have been making and we *might* just be looking around for next month's guest designer :)

Love from Mary and Andrea - The Ribbon Girls

Design Team Projects and a Shop Update

Our Design Team are, quite simply, the BEST! We love working with them, feel so priviliged to be getting to know them better and are very proud when we get to show their projects on our Ribbon Girl blog. Just look at what they have been making over the last few weeks

You might notice that we have been having a move around in the shop (and are still working on this). During the last few weeks we've taken delivery of lots of new products and expanded our range of ribbons and ribbon embellishments so much that we've had to create several new sections to the shop. Also some ranges were 'sharing' a section but now that we've added extrra colours and designs we've given these their own home.  I shall try to go back through the blog and change the links to products but in the meantime, if you do follow a link and end up in the wrong section of the shop the sidebar will help guide you to where you need to be.  It might take us a few days to get everything where we want it and we're also waiting for a couple of deliveries from America with new products so keep checking back.

We've had a great response to our Colour Challenge and it's open for another week, there is a great prize on offer in the prize draw so enter your project and you might win

Thank You

Our lovely Ribbon Girl Lucy made this perfectly simple card using short lengths of ribbon, button twine and polka dot buttons - see that blue button? It is the back of the polka dot buttons which are reversible
