We're so lucky to have wonderful friends.
One of my girlfriends, Kim, gave Stan a barn door for his birthday.
Her boyfriend, David brought it back from Pennsylvania,
from a barn he used to have.
He collects old doors and wonderful antiques.
They thought it would look great in our garden as a focal point.
Stan loved it.
We decided it would look good as a door going into the gazebo...
Stan added a post to support it and then
stained it to match the wood.
He had to change the door handle on the right side to open.
He added a small piece of wood to help secure the door closed.
He did a great job on it.
Couldn't wait to decorate it for July 4th.
I added a blue and white beach bag.
Then added some red and white roses to it.
The Barn Door is already for the 4th.
Front door decorated!
Love this photo of Maggie!
Wishing you all a very Happy 4th of July!
Just letting you know we just found out we're going to
Ririe, Idaho,
to visit Stan's brother, John, for the 4th of July.
He has a 100 acre Ranch so,
I'm bringing my camera to take lots of photos.
They have lots of animals;
chickens, horses, sheep, lambs, cattle and more.
I'll share the adventure with you all!
I wish every week I could thank each and everyone of you for always stopping by with the sweetest comments. You inspire us all with all your fabulous talent!! Just know it means a lot to both of us. Wishing you all the best holiday with family and friends!
Thanking all the military for giving us their support in making the United States of America
such a safe place to live.
