May's Fresh-Cut Friday

Hello! And welcome to this edition of Fresh-cut Friday my lovely friends!

Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis)
meaning: Return of happiness

I have to say that this month's FCF selection is one of my all time favorites.
Unfortunately, I live in a desert! SO Lily of the Vally is no where to be found.
I even tried to order some from the local florist.... She just gave me "the stare".
You know the look... the one that communicates " are you an idiot"?

It's okay though. My brother brought me these gorgeous tulips on Easter Sunday.

I thought they were pretty and I loved it that my brother brought them!
They lasted well over a week.

Did you have any floral arrangements on Easter?
I hope you did and I hope you will join in and share your post
by linking below!

I'm going to be joining:

What's been going on......

I'm sorry!
I'm really, really sorry!
I usually do some kind of wrap up after Fresh-Cut Friday
and thank everyone for visiting and participating.

Not this week.
What I mean to say is, that I do appreciate you!
BUT, this week
I finally gave in,  and had to admit that my trusty little friend, Mac, just wasn't
going to cut it anymore.  SO! I took my year end bonus and went and got myself
a new Macbook Air. With the help of my hubs, I have been learning it and setting it up to my liking.
I think I'm pretty happy.  I didn't realize how much time I was spending just
trying to comment or load some of my favorite blogs.

Ahhhhh... progress.

If you would like to make a note on your calendar, the next FCF will be May 2nd.
And just incase your wondering, the flower of the month for May is Lily of the Valley.

It signifies humility, sweetness and return to happiness.

Isn't that the a nice thought?

Fresh-Cut Friday

Thank you for stopping by and visiting.
Now that your here, I hope you will join in for Fresh-Cut Friday!
Feel free to link any post floral related. That includes arrangements,
gardens, crafts, older posts and even silk arrangements.

All I ask is that you please provide a link back to this party in your post.

The point is that I LOVE flowers!
So lets enjoy them!

First off!
Look at this incredible arrangement that my husband sent for our anniversary.
40 of the longest stemmed, red, roses I have ever seen in my life!
The whole arrangement was about 4 feet tall.
I felt sorry for the poor guy that delivered them. They weighed a ton!
I got to enjoy them all week at work.
FABULOUS!
Thank you T!

So now let's get on with party!

My little arrangement is much more humble.

These little pom poms were so cute and fragrant.

Only $5.99 for the bouquet.

How can you resist?!

So that is my little fall arrangement!

Let's see what-cha got!

I'm Joining:
Sherry from The Charm of Home;  Cindy from My Romantic Home;  Courtney for Feather Your Nest;  Debra at Common Ground; Kathy from A Delightsome Lif;

Fresh-Cut Friday #32

Hey There!
Welcome to another edition of Fresh-Cut Friday.
I'm so glad your here.

You know, FCF is really just about the simple joy of bringing fresh flowers into your home on a regular basis. And the thing is ... it just doesn't need to be expensive or complicated.

This little arrangement is going to travel all over the kitchen until it finds a spot
where I can enjoy it everyday.

A simple inexpensive bouquet of  daisies.  While daisies are the Flower of the Month, they are almost always in season. I picked these up for $4.99 at the grocery store.

Keeping the bouquet small, also makes it easily transportable.

This is where our little daisy bunch landed.... who knows where it will be tomorrow.

What have you done lately? I hope you will share your floral adventures!
Link your specific post below. Then add a link to your post back to this party so everyone can enjoy.
And I'll be joining these fun link parties:

Fresh-Cut Friday

Oh! Hello there!
Welcome to the 31st Fresh-Cut Friday.
Let's get started.

This is just a simple hodgepodge of flowers.
I love to buy myself flowers.... but I have to say that when others bring you flowers it
means so much more.
My friend brought me these sweet daffodils. I think that I will start taking flowers to people when they invite us to dinner or what not. I love that custom.
 These are so fragrant!
These are some little daisies that I pulled out of another arrangment that was finished.
I was looking at some past photos... I am surprised at how often I reach for an old
mason jar for a little bouquet.

So, now it is your turn. I can't wait to see your arrangements. Anything involving your flowers is a perfect addition. And sense this is only a monthly link party,  please feel to use past posts.

Have fun now!

I will be linking to these parties:
Show and Tell Friday
Feathered Nest Friday
Home Sweet Home

Fresh-Cut-Friday

Did someone say NOVEMBER?
Holy Moly! October flew by!
WELL, I sure am glad you are here!

WELCOME!!

The Flower of the Month is the Chrysanthemum.
But... I saw these sweet Gerbera Daisies and could not
leave them.

We are having company for dinner Sunday night and I wanted to plan out the tablescape.
I really wanted more of a French feel....
but I do like how this looks.

Maybe I'll take the Butter Slab away...

Any suggestions?
So now I'm anxious to come by and see your flowers...

Just a friendly reminder:
Make sure that you all try to visit each other. Fresh-Cut Friday is such a small little party that it really is easy to see and visit everyone. And that really is part of the fun.

I'm going to be joining:
Honey for Potpourri Friday
And Sherry for Home Sweet Home
