Prehistoric Animals
Visited the new
Natural History Museum of Utah
this afternoon, and found some interesting creatures...
This is an
absolutely horrifying bison
with gigantic horns...
...I felt much less threatened by this Saber-Toothed Cat.
Here's kitty, along with a mammoth in the background, and my favorite...a
short-faced bear
.
Check out the sweet five-toed paws!
Here's a
deinosuchus
, eating my skull...
...
they have protective bones all over their back. I'm thinking prehistoric life was tough.
Here's a nice exhibit with a modern kitty cat...
...and a sobering reminder...
