Easter Eggs, Cupcakes, Kites & More!

Some friends got together to throw an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. It was fun seeing them run around to pick up candy-filled eggs. What has Ella learned from all of this? CANDY! She now says it first thing in the morning: "N-A-N-D-Y!"

We got together with our friends the Evans from our ward to do an Easter Egg Hunt for our girls and fly a kite. It was Ella's first time flying a kite and she was a pro. Things were going great, until Ella's friend Katie let go and got the kite stuck in a tree!

Denver Trip

We took the girls to "Pump-It-Up" in Denver. They absolutely LOVED it. The slide and driving the car were her favorites, believe it or not.

For my birthday, my mom flew Ella and I out to Denver to visit with her and my sister Jenna. It was a great time. My mom chemically straightened her hair in lou of turning 50 next week! Doesn't she look great?

SLC Trip

Last weekend my mom & sister Melanie flew in from Cali, my sister Jenna and family drove in from Denver (including their 2 week old girl Tayla), and Steph & Grant from Rexburg... all of us there to meet at SLC to visit and go wedding dress shopping for Stephanie's wedding in 4 weeks! We went to a BYU basketball game while we were there, which was fun since Scott and I had never been to one. Scott and I also went to Brian Haynie's wedding, and oh what a Ricks Reunion that was! It was great to see everybody, even though it was a short trip!

Special Olympics Opening Ceremonies

We went to the Special Olympics opening ceremonies, even though the kids' attention span wasn't long enough for us to see the torch at the end, but it was a nice day to get out with our friends Tiffany and her kids Katie & Paul. Ella and Katie wouldn't let go of each other's hands the whole time walking, it was so cute.

Bogus Creek Outfitters

For Valentine's this year Scott suprised me by going up to Bogus Ski Lodge where they do a horse-drawn sleigh ride to this cabin of steak & shrimp and entertainment. We had a great time huddling in a blanket because of the zero degree weather on top of the mountain in an open sleigh! Thanks babe, you're the best.

The end of Frosty

By the end of February Frosty had melted down to a little ball of snow... Ella had fun playing with its remains.
