{Thanksgiving 2014}

We had Thanksgiving with the Thompson side this year at Scott's parent's home. It was amazing as always. Great food, great company, good times. The kids built a tepee after dinner, they were so proud of themselves, we all were pretty impressed!

Sledding with Uncle Scot

Last weekend my brother Scot came down from Provo to visit us for the weekend. My kids LOVE him, and we had a blast. We all went sledding on Saturday, built a snowman, ate some yummy BBQ nachos at Bodacious Pig, and then drove down to Idaho City for some hot cocoa and ice cream.

Thanks Bro for coming to visit, for the good talks and good company.
We love you, come again.

Girls Trip: Phoeniz, AZ

A couple weeks ago, five of us girls from Indy all met up, drove or flew into Phoenix to spend a fabulous long weekend together. We lived there for four years during dental school and these girls became my family.
We ate our hearts out at Costa Vida and In-N-Out ( Tia Rosa's was closed for construction). We spent a morning browsing the good deals at Last Chance...

Then we drove up to Scottsdale and stayed in a resort, it was beautiful!!
We enjoyed the empty pools and hot tubs
(best time of year to visit)

We explored Old Town Scottsdale and enjoyed an authentic dinner. Came home and had a "Favorite Things Party." The next day we visited a salon to get our nails done. My friend Rachael and I are due 3 days apart in February...
so fun to have a pregger buddy with me!

It was a blast, wouldn't have changed a thing. Love these gals to death, can't wait for our next trip!

Brock's Birthday and Halloween

I feel like the last two months have flown by, since we were packing and moving the whole month of October to a new house and then the month of November basically consisted of unpacking...
So I've been way behind updating this blog. But I didn't want to forget the key events in October:
Brock turned 3 on October 27th!!!
Crazy how fast time flies.
He LOVES Buzz Lightyear, and so this was the best at making a Buzz cake this year... since most of our house was boxed up at this point, and we moved literally 3 days later.
We had Scott's family over to celebrate with cake & ice cream & presents. This little stinker loves making silly faces for pictures, and won't stay still for the life of him... thus he's fuzzy in most of them :)
 All About Brock:
life cereal & bananas for breakfast
Buzz Lightyear and Shrek
not shy, talks like crazy and to anyone
still not potty trained :(
wears size 3 clothing, size 9 shoes
favorite color: blue
loves his blanket (mee-mees) and sucks thumb to sleep
loves to run, show muscles, and wrestle older brother
very independent personality, he has to do things himself
very lovable and cuddly
still allergic to cow's milk (lactose free please)
loves playing with his friend Kasen
good healthy eater, loves his veggies
loves watching movies
Halloween was the next day after we moved in, so glad I found the accessories to costumes I ordered weeks ago for Elsa!  We had a blast hanging out with Buzz Lightyear, a Ninja Warrior, and Elsa princess. I spray painted Ella's hair white if you can't tell by the pics, and she has snowflake gloves on to match.
We started our night going to the Star Community Halloween Festival, with trunk-or-treating, haunted bus tours, frosting cookies, games and more.
Then we met up with cousin's at Kiley's neighborhood
Brock got the transformer costume and a pirate costume from grandma's... so he has plenty to choose from for next year!
