I finally finished Alexis' album!!

Every year, our family has a charity auction at Christmastime. People donate items to be auctioned off and everyone bids on them. All money goes to a charity of the families' choosing. Well, for several years, I have offered up a 12x12 30-page custom-made scrapbook of any theme of the winner's choosing. My cousin-in-law and his wife won the scrapbook two different years and I created a first year album for each of their kids - Jack and Alexis. Well, they bid on Alexis' book Christmas of 2009 and I was finally able to give them the last six pages when we saw them this past July when we were back in Wisconsin. I was so happy with how the scrapbook turned out. Here it is in its entirety!

Peter's High School Sports Album Was A Success!

Back at Christmastime 2008, my aunt Nora bid on a custom-made scrapbook that I had offered up for our biannual Haas charity auction. She asked that I create an album for my cousin Peter that documented his four years as a three-season athlete at Walsh Jesuit High School. Giving him this album on this past Christmas Day was a memorable experience. My aunt cried and the smile on Peter's face the whole time he flipped through it was priceless. This is why I scrap.

P.S. If you are looking for supplies for ANY sport, check out Scrappin' Sports Stuff. They have it all! If I hadn't found their site, I wouldn't have been able to get this album together as quickly as I did - all the sports-themed supplies were purchased there.

Cece's Album is FINISHED!!

30 months, 88 pages, two thick albums, hundreds of photos and mementos and countless hours later and it's done. Completely done! I am thrilled with these albums. It was a lot of work but so worth it. I miss my baby cousin who is no longer a baby but a little woman. We moved to Oregon just a few weeks after she was born and it was tough to leave her. I haven't been able to watch her grow up in person but I did from distance through making this album. I am so excited to see her over Christmas and present her parents with these albums. I hope they love them as much as I do!

I finished Jack's Album!

For the past two years, I have been working on completing Jack's album. Jack is Andrew's cousin's son and on Christmas Eve 2007 during the family charity auction, Kevin & Cassie bid on this album for me to create for their son. I presented the book to them this past Christmas when we were back in Milwaukee and they loved it! I hope you do too!
