Oh, man, I'm so sick... :(

I'm sick, like super really sick... :( It's a drag. I'm on all kinds of antibiotics and a bunch of other stuff, I hope it all starts working soon!

I did it as part of the contest at Amanda Dykans. I'm super sick, so I'm not going to finish this week's piece anytime soon, but that's ok... I'll get it done eventually!

I've also done a piece for the collab for next month at DID, it's going to be great! And, I did something for a Charity collab next month at Digital Candy, so I'm pretty excited about that...

Yes, I know...

Oh the shame of it all... I'm such a bad blogger, it's not even funny...

So, here's what I'm gonna do, I'm just going to do my best to blog as much as I can... And, to get back into the swing of things, I'm just going to go ahead and post about a few things I have been meaning to post about and one contest that I would be happy to win!

First, the contest!! Read about it HERE! They are having a contest at My Pic Tales where if you answer 12 questions and post a reply to their blog, and then post about the contest on your blog, you might win a whole bunch of stuff from them. And, since I love free stuff, I had to go for it!! :D

Second, Santa's Digi Express is coming to Designs in Digital!


You don't wanna miss it, cuz it's going to be a mini kit from each of the designers at DID and there's cool challenges that go with the kits! It's really a lot of fun!!

Third, Hybrid Party Packs are coming soon!! I'm working on making some hybrid packs which you can use to create party favors and Invitations for your own parties, I think you'll like them!! :D

Fourth, I'm going to be in a Christmas Blog Train, so don't miss that on December 16 or so!! :D

Bad Blogger! Bad! BAD!

Oh My Goodness, I've been a very very bad blogger!

Everything's gone crazy crazy crazy... I have been working on products left and right for my store at DID!! :D

Also, Alisan was in the hospital, I've been super swamped with keeping up with AliSarah while she was sick! And, I have a new Scrap For Hire Job I'm working on!! I never even got around to posting my last Scrap For Hire Job up for you guys to see it... :( (Not that I'm deluded into thinking there are a lot of you guys, but you know what I mean!! :D)

Anyhow, I put my first product into my store at DID, it's on sale right now for super cheap!! :D






And, of course, for those who like to try before they buy, here's a nice freebie for you!! :D




Next week is my official store opening so there will be lots of great deals in the store for you starting on Wednesday!! :D

I've been working on collab kits like crazy... I'm working on 2 and in the planning stage on the 3rd... it's craziness!! :D

We went to Wild Rivers with Edith, her sisters, their kids, Sarah, Chris, Ashley, and Rachel! It was my first time at a water park and I took to it swimmingly! We spent our whole day floating in inner tubes going around in circles, and that was perfectly fine with all of us! I especially had fun telling Mommy and Sarah the names of all the colors of the pipes when we floated under them! It was super fun to hear about all the slides that Daddy and Chris went on together! They had almost as much fun as we did!

I have to say that this is much harder than scrapping my own memories... I always seem to know how I want it to look when I am scrapping my own things, and this one, I wanted to be perfect for my partner! I am so glad I don't have to give credits for all the things I tried and rejected on this one!!

A major accomplishment in my life...
I guess the first thing that comes to my mind would have to be my marriage and children.
I was rather rebellious as a teen and had decided at 15 that I would rather party than attend school, so I quit. I did manage to find a job even without my diploma, but when I became pregnant at age 17, I was scared and suffering from morning sickness, so once again... I quit.
I started dating my husband when I was 16 years old and he was 19. His mother was not happy about him dating me. She had told her sister that I was 'way too young' and would end up pregnant and he would be forced to marry me. Of course when I did become pregnant, it was all my fault, and after we told his mother of our plans to marry, the first thing I heard from his sister was his mother's comment that 'it will never last a year'. I could have easily taken another route, but it was time to prove to myself and everyone else that I could do something more with my life. So we decided to get married, and I was going to have this baby and be the best mother I could be. I was not going to quit!
I'm very proud to say that this year (2008) my husband and I will be married 30 years! We are the proud parents of 3 beautiful daughters and grandparents to 4 wonderful grandchildren, with number 5 due on our anniversary.
I may have been young, and I'm sure I wasn't the perfect mother, but I did the best I could and when I look at my daughters, I have to admit there is nothing I have accomplished in life that comes close to knowing I am responsible for bringing these wonderful people into the world.

I do have to say that I thought it was a drag that we ended the race on a challenge where only one partner scrapped. I think in the future they should make it so that for the last challenge, there are two layouts, just like most of the rest of the race. It would not have been very much more work for us to trade pictures and stories!! :D
