Monday Montage Cuteness

Isn't this little hamster card cute? I used the Hearts and Hugs Bundle to hand stamp this cheerful card and paper hug. I get a kick out of this fun fold and the bold color combination of Summer Splash, Melon Mambo, and Copper Clay.

Do you recognize the layout? It's one of the sketches from page 22 in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. I thought it was perfect for my Top Fold Back fun fold card.

Here's a look at the fold back. The top third folds back so the lower portion of the card opens.

I get a kick out of the simple stamping and die cut details that bring style to the inside of the card. What do you think? Do you decorate the insides of your cards?

Wildflower Designs

Happy Monday Montage! The time has come for another hop. For this hop I thought I would share a card that I think in real life is stunning. I truly love the Wildly Flowering Suite Collection! It's filled with beautiful stamps, dies, and paper that is out of this world gorgeous. My thank you card was created using products from the Suite.

Wild Wheat, it's an In Color that you either love or could do without. Me I LOVE IT! It's a brilliant color. It's everywhere in nature and home fashion. It's also a gorgeous gold without being metallic. Speaking of metallic I used the gold Metallic Enamel Effects to paint the background of the card base. It truly sets the tone for this beauty.

Here's a look at the inside of the card. A bit of stamping always brings a bit of beauty to the inside don't you think?

Thanks for joining along in our hop today. Next up is Emily. Let's click on over and see what fun stamping she has been up to.

Mediterranean Blooms

Have you stamped with the Mediterranean Blooms Suite Collection? Each element of the Suite is outstanding and beautiful. You can’t help but create gorgeous projects.

The oranges were die cut from the Mediterranean Blooms DSP. They make a perfect focal point.

Here’s a closer look at the details. There’s a bit of texture from the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, a loopy bow of Linen Thread, and navy Opal Rounds.

Julie is up next in our hop. Let’s go see what she has been stamping lately. I bet it’s awesome.

So Lucky to Know You

I do believe this card is perfect for summer. The Basic White Eyelet 3D embossed panel I think is what gives this card it's summer vibe.

I've combined the Country Flowers and Country Birdhouse Bundles for all the stamped and die cut elements. For all the color I used a Water Painter and inks to fill the images with Wild Wheat, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, and Misty Moonlight colors. Before those I stamped with Saddlebrown Stazon Ink which is waterproof.

Here's a look at the inside of the card. I used the same inks and watercolor technique. The finishing touch is the "love you" which is from the Saying Something Ephemera Pack.

Well, now that you have checked out one of my latest hand-stamped cards it's now time to hop over to Emily's and see what she has been stampin' lately. Enjoy and happy stampin'.

Hearts and Hugs for Monday Montage

Welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! I'm thrilled to have you visiting here. Today I am sharing an easy easy fun fold featuring the Hearts and Hugs Bundle.

The name of this fun fold is Side Latch. It's super simple. Start with an 81/2" x 5 1/2" card base and score at 4 1/4" along the long edge. Use a Bone Folder to fold and burnish on the 4 1/4" score line. To finish creating the fun fold cut 1" off the front right side of the card and score 1" on the back right side of the card. Use a Bone Folder to fold and burnish the 1" scoreline backward.

To create the latch decorate a circle or any shape then attach to the left side of the of the section that folds back.

Party on a Card!

This is my attempt to create a party on a card! My inspiration was the closing dance party scene from the original Footloose movie. I do love how it turned out. I also enjoy the colors. I wouldn't normally put these colors together for a party, however I was inspired by the Masterfully Made DSP which was recently retired. I used a piece of the DSP behind the white "party" layer to bring lots more color and movement to the card.

These party themed images come from the Filled with Fun Bundle. You can find these stamps and dies in the Online Exclusives. This unique color combo I mentioned above includes Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, Berry Burst, and Lemon Lime Twist.

Thanks for checking out my party on a card card in our Monday Montage Blog Hop. Next up today is Emily over at Emkcreations.

Monday Montage: Nature's Sweetness Suite

I have totally enjoyed creating hand-stamped cards using the Nature's Sweetness Suite Collection. That full suite of products was shared in the January-April Mini Catalog. One bundle from the collection has been carried over in the new Annual Catalog which was just released a few days ago.

I had some fun layering shapes to set the stage for the focal elements of my card. The large almond leaves image was die cut from the Nature's Sweetness DSP. I colored it with Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam, and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends. I really like the simplicity of the knot tied in the center of the Faux Leather Trim.

While the stamps and ink pads were out I added a bit of imagery to the inside of my card. My ink colors are Wild Wheat and Petal Pink.

Thanks for hopping with us today. There is more to see. Click on over to Emily's blog and see what she has been creating.

Filled with Fun for Monday Montage

I have some sweet stampin' to share with you. I made this cute spring themed happiness card using the Filled with Fun Bundle. These stamps and dies are a part of the Online Exclusives offer by Stampin' Up!.

I selected my color palette from the stripes of the panel of Delightfully Eclectic DSP. The wagon is Fresh Freesia, the balloons are Crushed Curry, stamped off/second generation, the flower stems and leaves are Old Olive, the card base is Bubble Bath, and all the other images are Night of Navy.

Are you in the mood for more stampin'spiration? Well good, because next in our hop is Emily. She has some good ol' paper crafting fun for you.

Nature's Sweetness Suite is Sweet

I love the Nature's Sweetness Suite Collection! I designed this fancy trim-fold card for my Technique Time! Stamp Class last month. The colors are a fantastic mix of neutrals with subtle inviting tones. I mixed Pecan Pie and Pebbled Path with Fresh Freesia, Pool Party, and Lost Lagoon.

The Suite includes two stamp and die bundles along with specialty dip, Adhesive Backed Cork Rounds, and Faux Leather Trim. The DSP is called Nature's Sweetness and the two bundles are called Notes of Nature and Lovely & Sweet. I have to say that the dies in both bundles are off the charts fabulous! And, the stamps combined from both bundles are perfect for stamping great focal points and collage style backgrounds.

Here's a look at what I call "second card." I like making cards that include multiple folds to allow for more  stampin' aka "second card." This second card features one of the pieces of Nature's Sweetness DSP.

The inside of the card includes some collage style stampin' to add a bit of decor inside to balance with all the other stamped, die cut elements, and embellishments.

Well, that's what I have for this installment of Monday Montage! Thanks for stopping by. Next up is the fabulous Emily! Let's go take a look at what she has been up to.
