Winter snowy card

I made this card with the Betterpress. I'm still loving this machine and the possibilities.  The birds are foiled with a glimmer  type machine a friend generously gave me.

Inks are Tim Holtz distress which I actually prefer with the Betterpress.

Deer have a special place in my heart and it's one of the reasons I love this plate❄️

Thanks for looking❤️

Just a note ...

A little bit of afternoon crafting today, made this simple card using a pretty pattern paper called Sweet Threads and cardstock. Trying to add more stitches and pp's to my cards for a different look!

Hope the start of your Summer has been good. We are having tons of rain here, guess our April Showers are late this year :)

tall grasses &butterflies

It was a fun weekend of stamping and hanging out at my local scrap book store. This is one of the cards I made on Saturday. The butterflies are Martha Stewart. Its a two part magnetic punch which allows you to punch anywhere on the page...great idea Martha! Also added this crazy sewing technique which is something new for me and the thing I like about it is you don't have to worry about making mistakes!

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your week!

Pleated dress form card

This week has flown by, Christmas will be here before we know it! Really need to get working on some tags and bags before the big day arrives!
Just a little pleated card made with Hero Arts CG125 Friends Definition and a sweet little dress form clear stamp from Glitz Design.
Spiced up the dress with some fringe, gems and a scarf. The embossing folder is distressed with Antique Linen and an added plated ribbon. Made a short video on how to make a pleated ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great evening :)

Sending Smiles!

I just adore this clear set from Hero Arts called Sending Smiles (CL444). So many great garden elements to choose from. Thought it would be fun to make the basket of flowers look like a purse :)

So glad it's the Weekend, now hopefully I will have a chance to look around Flickr and all the wonderful blogs out there to see what everyone has been up to!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great Weekend!! :)

There's no one like you!

Still enjoying this cloud stamp from Hero Arts, its great for Summery outdoor scenes. I am finding it's better to ink up the clouds and stamp on scrap paper then stamp the card. Its gives a more natural look to the background. Hero Arts has clouds that come horizontal or vertical, both would be great to have!
Made with k5400 Vertical clouds and CL381 Raccoon and flower.
Also wanted to share a photo of a neat cloud we spotted last night after dinner :)
