Marian Catholic HS 10 year Reunion

On October 3rd, we went to my 10 year high school reunion. It was at Marian and it was a really good time. There were about 100 of my classmates there along with many of their spouses and dates. Along with the 1999 reunion, there were several other classes reuniting - 1989, 1984, 1979, 1974 and 1969. The reunion started with mass in the school's chapel. We then toured the school. A lot has changed in the past 10 years! The reunion itself was in the new leadership center/cafeteria which is absolutely huge! It was set up really nicely with big round tables. There were 3 open bars and food catered by Mr. Binny's. I was a little nervous going and didn't think we would stay that late, but it ended up being a really great time. Even Dennis couldn't believe how nice everyone was there. We ended up staying until 11:30! It was so wonderful seeing everyone and spending time catching up. It made me realize how much I appreciate my high school education at Marian and has given me something to think about in possibly considering sending my kids to a private school as well. Baby Rebecca is here!!!!!

Last Monday our friends Matt & Tracy welcomed their baby girl. This Monday, my cousin Jim and his wife Julie welcomed their second child - Rebecca Renae. Rebecca is the second baby for Jim and Julie. She has an older brother Jeffrey David who will be 2 this July. I have not been to see Rebecca yet, but will hopefully have a chance to in the next week. These pictures are actually the ones taken at the hospital that Julie emailed to us. I used my iphone to take pictures of the monitor so I could show them to my other friends and family until I have a chance to see her in person. They came out good so I thought I'd post a few! We are so happy for Jim & Julie!!! Baby number 2 is here which makes them a family of 4. Congratulations on your beautiful daughter!

Dinner Party!

This post includes pictures of about 90% of my blog readers! haha Last Friday 1/16, our friends Tony and Wendy were in from North Carolina and had the chance to visit the rest of us boring people who haven't left the midwest...haha just kidding...I'm sure at least some of us are here by choice! :) Although we had to rearrange some of our furniture to fit everyone in the dining room, it was great to have everyone under one roof for the evening and to catch up with everybody.
